LOVED it! Food, happy hour and service was excellent!
Great service and food!!!
Went for Saturday lunch but they also have brunch food as well. Food is amazing. Great flavor profile on every dish. Prices are reasonable. Portions are large, even the kids cheese pizza was large. Service was also very good. As others have noted only downside is noise, which they could just address by turning music off.

Kitchen Social is a restaurant in the Crown area of Gaithersburg, described as a major upgrade to the area and a great addition to Crown. The restaurant used to be the location of Paladar, and noticeable changes were made to the interior layout, which is now much brighter and open, with a bright, clean look. The windows were wide open, making it feel like dining outdoors, and the chairs are comfortable and easy to move as they have sliders on each leg. The staff is very friendly and hard-working, and the service is excellent, though patience is required at busy times. Happy hour gets busy, especially at the bar, with a very friendly bar vibe. The food is amazing, with a great flavor profile on every dish, and prices are reasonable. Portions are large, even the kids cheese pizza was large. The menu is diverse. Specific meals mentioned include Mediterranean meatballs made from eggplant, cheesy bread, miso salmon, miso salmon salad, brown butter cake, fish tacos, shrimp and grits, cheddar biscuits, katsu and fried rice, and brunch food. The fish was cooked to perfection, the fish tacos are amazing, and the shrimp and grits are as good as one can get outside of Louisiana. The cheddar biscuits were surprisingly delicious. The katsu and fried rice was OK, lacking some umami expected in Japanese katsu and in the fried rice, but was a good portion. The only downside noted is noise, which could be addressed by turning music off.
