I’ve been a loyal customer of Pupuseria Libertad for over a year now, and their food has always been consistently good. The cheese and beans pupusas are tasty and not too salty, and the pollo a la plancha is well-cooked and flavorful. Their service has also been reliable and friendly.

However, based on other reviews, it seems that if you don’t speak Spanish, the service might not be the same. It could be a language barrier issue, so I recommend using a translation app to help with communication. I’m sorry you might have to go through this, but if you want to try their great food, this could be the best approach.

i used to go here religiously after work and school. until they started to refuse service if you didn’t speak spanish. they literally will do everything in their power not to serve you if you don’t speak spanish! many reviews have said the same thing… i wouldn’t ever spend money here ever again. even if your spanish isn’t fluent they will give u an attitude if u tried. many other reviews say the same thing because it’s true. they are never getting my money ever again

The pupusas did not have much flavor and it took a long time, almost 25 minutes, waiting for just 6 pupusas and the two ladies are not friendly at all. She looked very armed just because I asked for napkins. And the horchata has almost no sugar. I like to support food truck vendors but it was very wasted money in this place.

I loved this food truck and went daily. I got lunch there daily and would always set aside a few dollars as tips and would be excited to go every time. Then they started refusing to take my order if it was in English. Charging more if I went through the effort of trying to speak Spanish than they would my coworkers who are fluent. The food is great, but they take forever and hate anyone who can't speak Spanish fluently, so go at your own risk.

Really good pupusas

Bad customer service!

I have been buying pupusas here for more than 2 years and pollo asado but yesterday I bought chicken pastelitos and they were burned. I didn’t like the lady’s reaction towards my complaint. Never buying again from here ?
