Stan and Joes Riverside

Love Stan and Joe's - everything was great. Outstanding service, excellent vibe. My only complaint was that the burger was not great. Like a prepackaged heated up frozen thing. Which is fine for $5 but for $18 it was obscene.

We moved to the area just a couple months ago and we have been back to this restaurant at least 6 times. The service is excellent, the food is great, and the atmosphere (especially in the summer) is fantastic. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

P.s. if you order the crabs and are from out of town, Calvert County Curtis is a phenomenal guide through the process.

Cool, chill, and collected Ms.Callie was awesome! Great customer service. I will most definitely return. My middle school daughter enjoyed the view and her food.

I just wasted $50 on the worst food . I ordered fish & chips and my wife ordered the West River chicken. The chicken was not sufficiently hot and was so tough it couldn’t be cut with the knife. The fish & chips had been warmed and had no taste. The waitress offered to take the chicken off the bill. The point is, don’t serve it if it is inedible! We came home to find something to eat. The competition was booming. We ate at the competitor last week. Good food there.

I arrived there on a Tuesday night at 6:00 with a friend. We ordered two burgers at about 6:10 and did not receive our food until over an hour later. The burger was way overcooked, not hot, and the french fries were cold. While the location is beautiful, I will not be back for dinner again. Very disappointing.

Nice place on the water. Chris was our server for our group of 13 and she was awesome!

Long time customer, visited 10/16/2024 Wednesday evening for a quick bite at the bar and listened to ridiculous conversations between customers and bartender that have no place or business in a professional atmosphere. Will not return or order from this place again unfortunately!

My family and I had lunch here for my dad’s birthday since he wanted some seafood with a waterfront view. I don’t eat seafood, so this review is largely based on my family’s input. They loved the crab dip especially! I had the chicken tenders and they were very hot and crispy, just how they should be. Service was a little slow (understandable for a busy weekend with great weather!), but our waitress was exceptional and very friendly. Overall, a great restaurant for the family with nice views of the river

We take the boat to Stan and Joe's for crabs. It is often crowded outside. Usually plenty of indoor seating but who wants to sit outside with that great waterfront view. The Reuben is very good too

We came out to go Pirates Cove, they ended up turning us away due to the impeding storm. So we saw the lights of Stan and Joe's and decided to give them a try. We were brought right in and seated. Chris ended up being our waitress. She was marvelous, along with our appetizers and dinner. The desert didn't taste as good as the actual food. We, Will, be back and looking for Chris, lol, to be our server again.

Great location and a fun atmosphere! There isn't much space for them to have a band of more than 2 people, so that keeps the music down to mostly mellow acoustic stuff. Food is great and well-proportioned.

Loved it for how casual and scruffy it is. A dive bar. Dogs allowed. It's mostly a bar, but the food was good. And it sits right on the water in a beautiful marina with a beautiful view. Only been there once but I will go back. I'm curious to see what it will be like in cold weather.
