“I live nearby to this place and I’m OBSESSED with it. My bf too. We don’t go as much now that we are at school but when we are around we go minimum once a week lol. The bento boxes can be a bit inconsistent. Sometimes the noodles are delicious and sometimes they are a bit bland. The sushi however is always delicious and the shrimp tempura is the best Ive ever had and cannot be topped. They rarely make mistakes with the orders as well so that’s nice.“

“It’s just the sushi counter at Whole Foods, but the quality was GREAT!
I got the sushi/tuna avocado combo roll. It was $13 for a basically 2 rolls, and dollar per dollar it was much better than a lot of other sushi I’ve tried in Annapolis. Very fresh fish served cold. Easy to get right, but so many get it wrong. These guys did great.

The dining area is also very quiet and pleasant; great atmosphere if you want to work on a laptop or read a book. Try this sushi!“

“I have always liked this restaurant very much. I often come here to eat. The special price for lunch here is very favorable. The food is very large and delicious. Now let's address the other reviews, my first impression of this place 2 years ago was not that great, but giving them another shot was worth it and I sat at the bar solo without my newborn and my former lmao. (We still love that person) And now I love this place lol - I will be returning.

My son had the TripleSushi Deluxe (soup, salad, and sushi were delicious). The rest of us ordered Paradise, Rock and Roll, Yama, and the Goldfish Rolls. All were fresh and tasted awesome. They also have sake, plum wine, and Japanese sodas. Yama Annapolis is a truly Japanese restaurant in food as well as culturally. A must dine while you’re in Annapolis.“

Since I have been in the area a lot, I started marking which rolls I have had & liked, treating the roll like like Pokémon, 'got to eat them all'. So far the only rolls I didn't like were ones with ingredients or cooking methods that I am not a fan of. Two of the specialty rolls are usually enough food for me since when eating in you get a small bowl of soup, a small appetizer roll, and a piece of cake. “Great sushi! The salmon roll and tuna roll both include avocado (not listed, but very appreciated) and there’s no markup on the price. In fact, it’s the cheapest, freshest tasting sushi I’ve had in Annapolis. Very surprising for food court sushi.

Oh, and it’s FAST! Can’t believe you can get sushi this good in 5 minutes flat.

I haven’t tried the spicy rolls, but if you like normal raw fish sushi, this is the best tasting and the best price.“
