“My family and I have been going to Roy’s La Mexicana since it was a fast food restaurant on the corner. Now it’s been years at this new location. Service is EXCELLENT, the food is ALWAYS perfect. I recommend La Mexicana (and the new La Casita for Central American food). But you must have the shrimp fajita salad at La Mexicana!“

“I love this place! They have a bunch of local and craft beers on tap and one of the best selections of beers for retail in the area. If there is a beer you are looking for but can’t find, as long as the county sticks it, Ashish (the fabulous, friendly owner) will order it. The store is very clean and bright, I never have trouble finding parking, and the prices are on par with other stores. In the wine side of things, there is a good variety and prices seem a little lower than other area stores.“

“They have great burgers, fries, nachos, chicken wings, pizza, potato skins, fried shrimp and all types of bar food. Great neighborhood joint. Large bar with plenty of TVs showing whatever sports games happen to be playing. The prices are reasonable. The only thing they should work on is a little bit bigger portion size. For example if you order potato skins they don’t bring 4. You get 3. The nachos should be a little bit bigger. The burgers are delicious! The habaneros beet sauce is delicious“

“Great atmoshere, high-end stylish dining room, comfortable seating. The salmon dish was delicious and a large portion. The spinach rice side dish was so delicious! The Ravini Politiko, coconut cake was the best I ever ate! The Thalissina, seafood pasta had plenty of seafood in it and delicious. Even the cappaccino was delicious, very smooth, no bitterness and taste great with dessert! The server, Baris, was attentive, friendly and did a great job taking care of us. Great place to eat, homemade dishes and desserts! Highly recommend it. I will be back!“

“Server was excellent, always love the ambience of this location, got several different dishes ranging from salmon salad to shrimp salad to tacos and all were excellent. Also got bread pudding for dessert and it was awesome. While waiting for your meal, remember to ask for the bread because it's also very good.“

“Wide open spaces with an appeal to many demographics. While beer choice is the theme, an interesting food menu complements the offerings. There is even a focus on low calorie items (delicious) so you can spend your calories on the beer, or just enjoy table conversation while not glued to your phone screen. The signature beer offering in a "yard" doesn't match the German two liter size, which is probably a good thing. Go take a couple of laps around the Rio lake to spend some of the calories you consumed, or even head west to find a good book at Barnes & Noble (still around and even growing).“

“Takeout has its limitations. Tonight we ordered burgers and a pizza. They forgot the pizza and by the time it arrived the burgers were stone cold and the fries a soggy pile of grease. I want to support DFH but if it happens again, I'll wait until indoor dining resumes.“

“First time recently at Ivy and I must say, what an experience. Food and ambiance were excellent, staff was friendly and knowledgeable. “I had an amazing time here! The beer selection was top-notch, with something for every palate, and the vibrant atmosphere made it the perfect spot to relax. With plenty of seating and TVs showing NFL games, it’s a great place to hang out with friends. I initially planned to go to a ramen shop nearby, but the wait was too long, so I randomly tried this place without any expectations. And wow, it was amazing! I was confused the whole time I was eating. The pork belly is on par with some of the best spots in Korea, and the bossam just melts in your mouth.
I've lived in Virginia and tried most Korean BBQ spots here, but I want to give this place the top spot. We ordered galbitang, a portion of pork belly, bossam, and naengmyeon, and we were stuffed—yet the total was only $79! Is this real? It's so affordable and delicious; I can't believe such a place exists. It’s so underrated and unknown. Please promote this place more, owner! The vibe is also trendy and perfect for young people.“

“Such an awesome place! The beer on tap is such a great selection, the owner and beertenders are all fun and nice. The regulars are all fun and welcoming. There's also a store side where you can buy beer and wine, all great selections. Highly recommend them for your next alcohol purchase on the go or to just go and chill.“
