“My family and I have been going to Roy’s La Mexicana since it was a fast food restaurant on the corner. Now it’s been years at this new location. Service is EXCELLENT, the food is ALWAYS perfect. I recommend La Mexicana (and the new La Casita for Central American food). But you must have the shrimp fajita salad at La Mexicana!“
“We chose L Kaleta 28 because of the high ratings and they deserve 5 stars. The best Peruvian/Mexican I have ever eaten. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Wonderful experience.

“I love this place! They have a bunch of local and craft beers on tap and one of the best selections of beers for retail in the area. If there is a beer you are looking for but can’t find, as long as the county sticks it, Ashish (the fabulous, friendly owner) will order it. The store is very clean and bright, I never have trouble finding parking, and the prices are on par with other stores. In the wine side of things, there is a good variety and prices seem a little lower than other area stores.“

“They have great burgers, fries, nachos, chicken wings, pizza, potato skins, fried shrimp and all types of bar food. Great neighborhood joint. Large bar with plenty of TVs showing whatever sports games happen to be playing. The prices are reasonable. The only thing they should work on is a little bit bigger portion size. For example if you order potato skins they don’t bring 4. You get 3. The nachos should be a little bit bigger. The burgers are delicious! The habaneros beet sauce is delicious“

“Great atmoshere, high-end stylish dining room, comfortable seating. The salmon dish was delicious and a large portion. The spinach rice side dish was so delicious! The Ravini Politiko, coconut cake was the best I ever ate! The Thalissina, seafood pasta had plenty of seafood in it and delicious. Even the cappaccino was delicious, very smooth, no bitterness and taste great with dessert! The server, Baris, was attentive, friendly and did a great job taking care of us. Great place to eat, homemade dishes and desserts! Highly recommend it. I will be back!“

“I dropped in during Happy Hour by chance for a bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised to learn that Happy Hour Specials applied to table dining at full sized portions. It was great opportunity to try a pizza and a queso appetizer affordably.
They both were very tasty. The portion size of the queso was smaller than expected but so rich and flavorful that it was satisfying and good to share.
The atmosphere was family friendly despite many people meeting for drinks. My 11yo and I were comfortable and enjoyed our early dinner. I’ll return to try other menu items.“

“Only complaint is the alcohol. My friend ordered white wine and received a tiny amount, I believe about 3.5 oz. When she asked if she could have a larger serving on her 2nd glass they increased it to about 5.5 oz. Most places in this county ask if you want a 6 or 9 oz glass. They gave some excuse why they couldn't do that. I ordered a draught beer which also looked a bit less than the pint glass I'm used to, maybe a 12 oz glass. That is my only complaint but it's a pretty big one.“

“Takeout has its limitations. Tonight we ordered burgers and a pizza. They forgot the pizza and by the time it arrived the burgers were stone cold and the fries a soggy pile of grease. I want to support DFH but if it happens again, I'll wait until indoor dining resumes.“

“I had an amazing time here! The beer selection was top-notch, with something for every palate, and the vibrant atmosphere made it the perfect spot to relax. With plenty of seating and TVs showing NFL games, it’s a great place to hang out with friends. The staff went above and beyond, introducing themselves and making sure I had everything I needed—I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!“
“SO welcoming and great instruction for line dancing!! Amazing community and so fun I kept coming back and made it a weekly routine! The food here is actually pretty good (standard bar fare but the salmon and salsa top notch) and drinks are generous pours (and too cheap to be Maryland pricing). Highly recommended.“

“Such an awesome place! The beer on tap is such a great selection, the owner and beertenders are all fun and nice. The regulars are all fun and welcoming. There's also a store side where you can buy beer and wine, all great selections. Highly recommend them for your next alcohol purchase on the go or to just go and chill.“
