“Lunch with small group on a quiet winter weekday no one else in the place. My steakhouse burger was nicely cooked but non-memberable. The place did provide me with the option for a side salad instead of fries, which was made with fresh greens and very tasty. My friend was able to get her burger on gluten-free bread, and they nicely put her accompanying fries on a separate plate for the rest of us to nosh on.“

The Happy Hour, which starts at 1PM (yes, you read that correctly) has insanely low prices, and the "pour" on both glasses of wine and cocktails are unmatched. “The sushi at Takumi Japanese Bistro & Bar was fresh and nicely prepared. The salmon nigiri had a clean flavor, and the spicy tuna roll had just enough heat without being buried in sauce. The chicken gyoza was another good choice, with crisp bottoms and a savory filling. I liked that the menu had more than just sushi, so there were plenty of options for the table. Service was pleasant, although things slowed down a little once the restaurant became busier. Overall, a satisfying Japanese meal in Bethesda.“

Today J the creator made me two beautiful drinks 1 the blueberry mocktail and Tiramisu Cocktail that was not only well engineered but the taste was amazing! So now this is one of my favorite Bars. The Ravini Politiko, coconut cake was the best I ever ate! The Thalissina, seafood pasta had plenty of seafood in it and delicious. Even the cappaccino was delicious, very smooth, no bitterness and taste great with dessert! The server, Baris, was attentive, friendly and did a great job taking care of us. Great place to eat, homemade dishes and desserts! Highly recommend it. I will be back!“

Jess was fantastic from start to finish, helping us create the perfect event and menu while staying within our budget. The upstairs of the restaurant was set up beautifully for our party, complete with a photo slideshow of us playing on the TVs, which added a nice personal touch. The dinner was delicious, and our rehearsal dinner guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the roasted chicken was! After the sit-down dinner, Jess and her team seamlessly transitioned the space into a more casual area where the rest of our guests could mix and mingle, complete with an open bar and light snacks. The bartenders, Jess and Max, were absolute pros—our guests certainly kept them busy and they did an amazing job keeping us and everyone happy throughout the night. Jess and the team at Moreland’s Tavern made our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks unforgettable. As our neighbors up the street, we are so glad Moreland’s was a part of our wedding weekend as a favorite neighborhood spot we can revisit again and again. “I love this place! They have a bunch of local and craft beers on tap and one of the best selections of beers for retail in the area. If there is a beer you are looking for but can’t find, as long as the county sticks it, Ashish (the fabulous, friendly owner) will order it. The store is very clean and bright, I never have trouble finding parking, and the prices are on par with other stores. In the wine side of things, there is a good variety and prices seem a little lower than other area stores.“

“My husband and I decided to stay here overnight during our drive home from a beach vacation. I am covered in mosquito bites and am just miserable. I couldn’t wait to take a shower. Well let me tell you, I have NEVER taken a shower as good as the shower I just took in this hotel. It scratched every mosquito bite on my body simultaneously and felt so amazing. The provided toiletries smell like I just stepped out of a spa. The towel was fluffy but not linty. The water pressure was immaculate. The temperature was consistent and easy to set to the perfect amount of hotness. And my skin doesn’t feel like it’s been stripped of all of its moisture like it does after a shower at most hotels. I will only stay at this chain from now on if they’re all like this. I need to know how to get this at home. I’m serious. Best shower of my life.“
