As a self-proclaimed Type A personality, it's rare for me to completely let go, but Chef Renee and her assistant, Martin, handled everything flawlessly. “I ordered collard greens and a turkey wing sandwich.it was delicious. The seasoning was great. The collard greens yum. Turkey wing. Seasoning perfect. Seasoned but not spicy. Yum I like it that way.
The service was very good. The staff was very nice.
There was an unhappy customer. Wanted a refund but had eaten some of the food. How can you ask for a full refund? Very loud. When customers left, they offered us a slice of cake/pie to apologize for the incident. Wow! Speaks volumes for the quality of the restaurant.

“The food was so good! I ordered the crab cake sandwich (special for the day), with Mac & cheese and potato salad. I also ordered the sweet potato pie egg rolls with henny cream sauce. First, the crab cake sandwich was huge and meaty. It was very good and I’d go back off that alone. Everything else was very good as well. The sweet potatoes pie egg rolls were amazing and I don’t even generally like sweet potatoes, but it sounded so good and it didn’t disappoint. I also met Derrick and Shae while I was there and they were very kind. I’ll be back! I wish I had photos, but I ate the food too fast.“
“Shout out to Big Moe's Catering!! They catered our work luncheon, with all of the Covid protocols that made it much easier for us. Each staff member had individual meals with a dessert. The turkey wings, fried chicken, salmon, pork chops, masked potato's, greens, string beans, and mac n cheese were delicious. Every one had an empty container. The food was delivered on time and the communication was excellent. I would order from them again.“

My wedding planner had faded out of the picture and they filled in all the holes - from ordering glasses to helping move the piano! The food was wonderful and the staff was great. I wanted to use a local small business and they were right in my neighborhood. Could not have made a better selection!“

“Glynis and the entire team at Catering by Seasons went above and beyond to make our celebration like no other. From the menu selection to the tasting they made thoughtful suggestions and listened to our preferences and requests. Menu items were inspired, creative, and most importantly beyond delicious. On the day of, the passed hors d'oeuvres were presented beautifully and a hit with our guests. The stations and plated meals received raves, as did the desserts. We could not be more thrilled and would recommend Catering by Seasons enthusiastically.“

“Catering by Uptown was our caterer/vendor for a wedding at the Torpedo Factory Art Center. The had an hour and a half to set up all the furniture for the ceremony and reception and the mobile kitchen. They pulled it all off seamlessly! I had two day-of coordinators to help orchestrate the day and they both were so sweet and thoughtful. Ya-Maila was detailed and quick on her feet, and the kitchen manager (didn't catch her name) was so kind and thoughtful.They went above and beyond to make our special day run so smoothly, it was really magical thanks to them!“

“Ms. Kathy was an amazing tour guide. Ms. Taylor was very kind also. It is a great banquet facility not open on Sunday or Mondays. It is carpeted, and can be configured in many different ways and room sizes. Lots of parking, food is available for a cost.“

“Small deli managed by husband and wife team. Menu includes breakfast and lunch items and hearty sandwiches, soups, & fried foods. Pretty decent prices too. Try the chicken salad or tuna on whole wheat toast with tomato and lettuce. Lunch special includes chips and bottled water for about $7. Great service“

“Avenues of the Caribbean is a top notch caterer which I chose recently for a large Haitian-themed birthday party. I was initially impressed by the well- organized web site.
The owner, Jennifer Paul, worked personally with me over a month to ensure that every delicacy requested by the guest of honor would make it to the buffet table. She even prepared and delivered an “sampling dinner” so we knew what flavors to expect.
At the party, every guest raved about how delicious the food was, and there were many comments about how certain dishes brought back fond memories of their own mothers’ home cooking!
