“Old Blue catered my daughters wedding. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. Old Blue has the best BBQ food in the greater DC area - so, that would be enough to recommend them - however, if you are planning an event, you will not believe the quality of the service they offer. Everyone was helpful, had great suggestions, they even shared decorations with us. The day of the wedding was also perfect - they were attentive and seemed to anticipate every need. Again, they would be worth it just for the food, but they perfect because of everything else.“

The birthday girl felt like a true princess, the sleepover was a hit, and the food? Gone. Quickly. The flavor is indescribable. The chipotle chicken was incredibly tender, and the chimichurri skirt steak literally melted in your mouth. Multiple girls said, unprompted, “This is way better and much more flavorful than Chipotle.” When teenagers agree on something, you know it’s real. It should honestly be a crime to make meat, chips, guac, and corn salsa taste that good. Shout-out to the delivery driver too—early, professional, friendly, and even gave helpful tips on how to set everything up. Those little touches make a huge difference when you’re hosting a house full of teenagers. “We love Washington DC so my wife and I wanted some pizza. We were staying at the Embassy suites in NW so I googled pizza that was close by. Pizzoli‘s pizzeria came up. It looked good so we took an Uber there and the pizza was excellent. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and my wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed it. Made from scratch good. We were a little bit surprised in that it was a smaller establishment as we thought we were going to a place that had lots of tables, etc. This place has one inside table and five or six countertops to eat at and then they have several tables outside but as noted, the food was fantastic. Would certainly recommended, and we will be back home future visits.“
