“I’ve been here twice and had tasty meals both times. Very polite and prompt service. I enjoyed the pupusas and carne asada.

Parking: Plenty of street nearby, but no lot.

“I have gone to this place first for the pupusas, then for the pollo con tajadas, and each time I have never been disappointed, on the flavor, the portion size, or the nice size of the pupusas, the staff that works there, is very nice, professional, attentive and respectful, the place before and now more in the middle of the pandemic is very well-maintained, always clean.Will always recommend and comeback time and time again.The only downside is parking, well you can not blame anyone, because this restaurant is smack in the middle of the block on the busy Eastern ave.... but it's WORTH IT!!“

“We had an overall positive experience at Restaurante El Salvador while traveling from Odenton, MD, to New York. The food was delicious; I ordered a typical Salvadoran dish with beans, rice and roast beef, as well as three pupusas and an order of fries ?️. My son enjoyed a pupusa, but a hair appeared in the second one ?.

The manager acted quickly, apologized and told us we could order whatever we wanted for free. I only ordered an additional cheese pupusa for my son, but I noticed that on the receipt they charged for it ?. In the end, we only paid for my plate, the fries and the juices, which was a very appreciated gesture ?.

However, one aspect that could improve is the condition of the bathrooms. My son came in and saw that they had not added water, which is not acceptable ?.

Despite the confusion with the pupusa and the problem in the bathrooms, the customer service was excellent and the food was very good ?. I would definitely consider returning in the future. I recommend the place! ⭐

Parking: I found parking right in front, it took me a while but I didn't pay anything because it was Sunday ?“

“The food here is delicious and the staff were very kind. They explained to me dishes and ingredients I was unfamiliar with and even packaged my vegetarian pupusas separate from the ones we ordered with meat. This was my first time trying a baleada - their homemade tortilla was fluffy and tender. Prices are also very reasonable. Highly recommend!“

“I'm sad that I didn't take pictures. This place in a supermarket like a hidden gem. When we arrived, they sat us quickly. We ordered pupusas and, wow, amazing. The slaw brought it over the top. We will definitely stop in again when in the area.“

“I am very strict when it comes to food!!
I have visited many restaurants and many of them I don't like the seasoning. It's like something pre-cooked and I don't like it but I came to this place and asked the waitress who the cook is, they tell me she's a cook. Know ? I respect you because it is magnificent in its season and I congratulate you... the music was a little uncomfortable at high volume but I was delighted with the food. All very delicious!“

“Baleadas De Carne- almost like big salvadoran/honduran tacos. Insides are beans, spanish daisy like cream or sour cream and egg. Salvadoran cheese and steak ?. They hit every time . Nice fluffy fresh flour like tortilla . The cream and the cheese is what really compliments the taste. Mix of flavors. Cant forget the horchata(aka spanish cinnamon toast crunch milk drink; is what people refer it to for those who dont know.) ive been coming here for a while and will keep coming back.“

I walked in last weekend and had the best steak tacos I've had in the area. I was looking for a place to sit and wait, this was not it. No dine-in here, take out and delivery only, but it's so good! It's hidden behind the the police station of the long Reach Village Center.

Tonight, I used store front delivery to feed my family. It got here so fast, but I was not given an option online to tip. Hopefully, you have some cash.

The papusas are out of this world! I only wished they hadn't been delivered stacked on top of each other. It was a mushy, hot mess of heaven!

Chicken quesadillas and chicken tacos were good. But, don't be like me and wolf down the first taco before you realize the slaw was in a baggie on the side. Steak tacos were 'write home to momma' good, chicken tacos were legit, but dry without the slaw. The crunchy banana chips in the slaw were interesting and something I really appreciated.

I want to eat here every day 😋“
