“The food here is spectacular!! Comes out hot and flavorful with great portion sizes. Highly recommend the okra, the fasoolia, and the falafel (and many others). The free chai is a lovely touch as well. The owner/main guy I interacted with who works there also is very funny and kind :) He gifted us baklava!

Definitely check this restaurant out! We like to get lots of things and share them, so you could get full from $10-20 per person, but if you get lots of things you’ll have delicious leftovers.“

“The chicken over rice at Shah’s Halal Food was flavorful, filling, and exactly what I was craving. The seasoned chicken paired really well with the fragrant rice, fresh lettuce, and creamy white sauce. The hot sauce added a nice kick without overpowering everything. We also tried the lamb, which was tender and well seasoned. A great casual meal when you want something quick, hearty, and packed with flavor.“

“This is my new favorite place to eat in Ellicott City! First of all the food is incredible. The garlic sauce we ordered as an appetizer alone would have satisfied me but the food just keep getting better. So fresh and so flavorful!! The owner introduced himself and made us feel so welcome. Their story is incredible! The ambiance was absolutely lovely. They had live musicians who were extremely talented and added a tone that was fun and enjoyable but not at all overwhelming or too loud. “In town visiting for the weekend and was looking for food that is quick, but also healthier than typical fast food. Thankfully, Halal Guys has been a great meal option during my stay. For my entree, I opted for the small chicken platter, which comes with yellow rice, your choice of chicken (spicy or regular), and your choice of veggies and sauces. The rice was nice and warm, the spicy chicken was tender and juicy, and the sauce and veggies were fresh and added even more flavor. The ladies working are always very nice and attend to the needs of each guest. Whenever I’m in the area I will definitely come to dine here.“
