She was familiar with the two customers in front of me. It definitely had a neighborhood friendly vibe. The shop was busy. Most of the tables on the first floor were taken up when I was there. Be sure to take a stroll up the stairs. At the top of the stairs was an adorable little spot for two people to sit and chat. The second floor has a great little area to sit and ready or study. The top floor was full of light. I ordered my usual cortado. It was a solid drink. The cortado wasn't bad but it also wasn't anything spectacular to write home about.“

Food: I ordered the fried chicken, biscuit & gravy omelet, and thought it tasted amazing. The gravy added a rich, savory taste to the omelet. Very delicious meal and I recommend.

Service: The service was very slow this day, which is why I’m giving it 4/5. We were told a 10 minute wait but instead got seated 20 minutes later. Even ordering food and waiting for our food took awhile. We hoped for better and quicker service overall.

Atmosphere: The ambiance/atmosphere was pleasant, but very packed.The tables were so close to each other, it’s impossible to not bump into other people and tables when getting out.

Overall, based on the food I recommend.“

I got the White Truffle Lamb Cheesesteak. 1st my old man rant, I can’t believe what people are paying for craft beer/food. ‘Do you want sweet potato fries with that?’ Implied fries come with the cheesesteak. Back to our regularly scheduled review. I love what is going on down on the Baltimore Peninsula. I saw ‘Baltimore Peninsula’ painted on the side of a building so I assumed they were talking about the area I was in. Fun place, good crowd and good energy. The description of the WTL cheesesteak sounded very good. It did not pass the eye test. I expected the roll to be sub (philly) par and it was. It didn’t look good but it tasted amazing. All the parts worked very well together. The sweet potato fries were probably worth the extra $2.50. $20 for the WTL Cheesesteak, $2.50 for fries and $8.75 for a draft. If you follow me you know I am not a fan of these prices. With that said, I will be back to try the Short Rib Grilled Cheese and Mac & Beer Cheese w/crumbled bacon. The bartender was pleasant and professional.“

“I had family visiting from Canada and wanted to serve Mexican. I was not disappointed .The Tamales, the chips everything we ordered was par excellent. The chef was extremely polite and chatted with my family for a few minutes. I'm definitely going back.“

“We held our wedding reception here and everyone had the best time. The venue was a perfect place to hold this event as both the inside and outside are perfectly set up for a no frills wedding. “My family and I have enjoyed Devens Deli for a few decades now. Deven, Hetal and the rest of the staff are absolutely amazing people who make amazing food. When my family comes to town and I tell them I know where to get the best shrimp salad sandwich, they go back to Virginia knowing the place to go is Devens Deli. The Soft shell crab sandwich is awesome and a good price, as is the fantastic crab cakes (which can give any of those “4 star restaurants” a run for their money) 🦀👍. Hetal makes THE BEST chocolate eggs around the Easter season and my son and I made it a tradition to get them every year!! My cousins wedding was catered by Devens, I suggest you keep them in mind when having any event👍🤩“

“We have gone to Iggies many times and always were treated with such hospitality. We live in the area and know this is THE place to go. We even ended up asking if they could host our dress rehearsal dinner. Mehmet graciously worked with us and put together a wonderful event. All our guests were amazed by how good the pizza and food were. There are so many different options of pizzas and guests left so full because they wanted to try each one! We are most especially thankful for Mehmet and his whole family making us feel so welcomed.
