“I have been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got a chance to go. This is a hidden gem. The service was great and we was even offered other was to order to make things easier and cheaper because we was ordering so much stuff. lol. The pit beef sandwich was really good and I will get that again. Loved the bread it was on also. My absolute favorite is the hush puppies with honey!! OMG they are perfection and you get plenty of hush puppies and honey!! We also tried the crab cake sandwich and that was good as well. Husband got some ribs and he said they were good but not his favorite. The teens got fries, nuggets and cheeseburger. They enjoyed their food. Will return!”

“Definitely a carry out. They do have a booths. Some recover with pizza boxes and paraphernalia. Others had paper scattered across. Maybe that's where people wait for their food that's not ready on time or whatever. Other than this food is wonderful and the providers are very polite. Just always in a hurry.”

“This place always has the best pizza!! They have the daily favorite (like chees, pepperoni and supreme) and then they feature something special. Today we had chicken cilantro and then we tried the eggroll pizza. Both of them were so good. The crust is always light and crispy. This is definitely our favorite pizza place.”

“Great ice cream for the area, not the best I've ever had but it really is good. The ice cream is pretty heavy and there's none of those little chunks of ice to mess with the consistency. Servings are pretty large and cones are tasty. I do think that some of the fruit flavors could use some actual fruit chunks mixed in but that's more personal preference.”

“Have been to this resaurant several times and it never disappoints. The food is always tasty and staff is always pleasant. I wish they had table side servers instead of having to ho up to the bar to ider. Maybe in the new location they will have a sever come to the table.”

“Leonardtown does it again! ? This amazing bakery has a great variety of bread, quiches, tarts, macaroons, and much more. Today was my first time here. I'd come in to pick up a loaf of bread for my stepdaughter, and decided to sit down and enjoy a slice of quiche and a chai latte. Kelly and Sarah were behind the counter, and they were so helpful! Kelly gave me a description of all the items I was interested in. They got me set up with my bread, quiche,, and latte quickly, and directed me to the utensils and napkins. There are lots of tables (both high-top and low). The windows look out onto the town square. It's so cute and homey inside, and it even has a little arcade for kids. They also serve ice cream! This is a win-win, and fits in so nicely with Leonardtown's artsy and relaxed vibe. I highly suggest coming in and spending some quality time with friends or loved ones in this sweet shop. And why not pick up a gift card or two while your here. For my Realtor friends- they can set you up nicely with an Open House snack spread. ? “This was from my third visit to Botanic cafe and I can't say enough great things about this local coffee shop. The location is next to a ton of local businesses and brings something truly artisan to Leonardtown. I am a vegetarian and am never disappointed by their rotating options and delicious staples. The coffee is the best in town. They have creative options and classics and they are all well made.I will say this is not a fast service spot - and for the quality you are just fooling yourself if you expect it to be. The warm interior and pastry case offer plenty to enjoy while you wait. Please give this local business a try next time you are in the area.”

“A great place to stop in for coffee, sandwiches, baked goods, fresh veggies, and some other cute goods. Outdoor seating is available so you can linger and enjoy your coffee. Really friendly staff.”

“Seriously, one of our favorite places. They are so welcoming and nice. They have everything from sweet fun wines to serious dry wines. Lots of variety with food trucks, or you can bring your own food. The enclosed patio has heaters if the weather is cool, and they are pet friendly. During our last visit with our two corgis, the staff was so welcoming and friendly, and even gave little dog treats to our fur babies. We will continue coming back, not just for the service and ambience, but for the wide variety and high quality of their wine.”

“Was visiting a friend two hours away and stopped by for lunch. The staff was very pleasant. Had the orange chicken, which I haven't had in years, and it was all very good flavor, crunch and smell. Much better then anywhere else I had it, it was the texture that really made it memorable. Also swiped my friends food and that was good too.Keep doing what your doing.”
