“I was on the way to lunch and saw a coworker of mine's walking to Terry's cafe. At the time I didn't know he was going to Terry's cafe, I picked him up he took me there and I ordered my food. They were so friendly the food delicious and the owners were very courteous and professional and even gave me 3 chocolate chip cookies free. Highly recommended 5 stars if I could give more I will give them 10 stars.“

“We get carryout dinner here at least 1 night a week. We love all of the Greek dishes, crabcakes, soups, salads and desserts. The turkey and hot beef platters are also very good. (Ask for gravy on the side.) I have never had anything I didn't not like.“

Now, my bourbon-loving friend was over the moon to discover that Johnny's stocked his all-time favorite brand, FEW. After indulging in wine and coffee that could make any day brighter, we just had to cap off our relaxed Sunday with a round of bourbon. Because what’s a pre-game without a little celebratory sip, right? My friend and her daughter were enjoying their vanilla latte and mocha to the fullest—let’s just say the smiles on their faces were positively radiant! And the cookies? Oh my goodness! The gingerbread and peanut butter cookies were instant crowd-pleasers. I’m pretty sure I’d fight a bear for another bite! Now, here’s the kicker: my friend might live in sunny Florida, but I’m ready to brave the Washington Beltway traffic any time just to return to Johnny's. If they nail snacks and drinks this well before a soccer game, I can't even imagine what kind of culinary genius they have up their sleeves! So, Johnny's, you’ve stolen my heart (and my taste buds)—I’m already counting down the days until my next visit!“

“Tonight, I decided to give Glenwood's a try. I've seen it while supporting other restaurants in the same strip. The atmosphere was pleasant and had a chill vibe to it. I was greeted in a very professional manner and was seated immediately. My server, named Abby, was very pleasant and immediately took my drink order while allowing me to review the menu. Walter brought my drink to the table and explained the special items that weren't on the menu. He was just as pleasant and professional. I must say, I liked the fact that all the servers were dressed nicely in black and white, with neckties. As I observed, I noticed that they helped one another, which was impressive.

I decided to order the Chesapeake Style Crab Dip with bagette bread, Fire-Roasted Rotisserie Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and for dessert, Bread Pudding. I must admit everything was seasoned to perfection. The chicken was superb. I wasn't a fan of the Bread Pudding, though. It wasn't bad, but I've had better. It was a huge portion, but not worth $14. I recommend that you give them a try, and I look forward to returning.“

“Real food the way Baltimoreans like it. Regular white sandwich bread for soft crabs Fried Liver and onions with bacon also. Rare Prime Rib. Just good home cooked food.They miss on a few items but,I've been going for 45 years and it doesn't disappoint. Service is friendly and excellent. Hope it never changes.“

“August 24. Five of us came to enjoy lunch together. Very disappointed. My ultimate grilled cheese was not ‘ultimate’. Very little cheese, no tomato, and crab cake/meat was sub par. Another lady received the wrong lunch and then had to send back her lunch when the correct order was brought. Another lady had to send back her hot fudge sundae. We were told the hot fudge was made last week! It would have been nice if a manager had come to our table. Have been coming to Manor Tavern for decades and have never been so disappointed. Am coming again in September. Hope things are a bit better!“

“This was my husband and I's first time at McFauls. We came for a late lunch and chose to eat at the outside bar. The menu, food and prices were all amazing! Our bartender, Jake was very personable and friendly and gave perfect service!!! Delicious drinks! Everything was above and beyond. There were so many delicious choices on the menu, we can't wait to come back to try more! We had the buffalo chicken wonton special, the Italian stallion sub special and I got the blackened Mahi Mahi tacos all 10/10.“

“My family went to Hightopps tonight for a small memorial for my uncle. The food was delicious, our waitress Bree was great, the general manager, Kirk, was one of my uncles best friends, thank you for your kindness! I never met the owner but I can tell he is an excellent person. Thank you to all of my uncles friends that cared so much for him & for Hightopps wonderful service and kindness as well. I give this place a 10 out of 10. It reminds me a little like Seacrets in OC. Love the atmosphere and outside is so pretty.“

“I celebrated my daughter's 16th birthday. It was a beautiful experience and budget friendly. The food was great and customer service was very good. The ambience was nice and the music was not loud. “Of all of the Atwaters in MD this one is my favorite. It has so much charm and it is quaint. It is great for solo or group breakfast or lunch. I really love that they change their beverages with the season. They also offer local jams/preserves, pastries, kombucha and kimchi. It is easy to drift away here with a latte and book for hours.“

We've been twice in the last few months when we were out and realized we just didn't want fast food again.

Both times we just sat at the bar and Dante served us. It was a pleasure sitting with him.

Yes, there were TVs everywhere. Yes, the food was good. But Dante and the staff? They set this location apart from the rest.“

Easy to order, food ready quickly A pair of excellent lump crabmeat carb cakes and garlic mash with grilled asparagus was wonderful. At $45, pricy for one but shared, a lovely shared ample dinner to go. Will be back for future visits when in the area.“

“Made my first visit last week - Really nice guys, incredibly good food, and also great value. Everything we had was superior to Andy Nelsons or Mission, and I will be back more than likely this week to try the rest of the menu and get more mac and cheese. Special touch on the visit was the cashier gave me a little bouquet of flowers to hand my girlfriend when we walked in and also gave her a choice of piece of candy when we were leaving. Super cool guys and the best meat and mac and cheese I have had around town.“

“IND Luncheon class of "71. The food was excellent, and the service was very good. The ladies were all saying how good the food was! We did in March and coming back in April. I would recommend Bowman. I eat there every Monday in the bar. I am never disappointed.“

“This is a typical bar with with bar food. No Different than TGI Friday, except a little better. The service is "OK" the servers are untrained as to waiting on tables. The first thing that should be brought to tables is eating utensils and napkins, the water. The tables dont have slat & pepper available for their patrons, you need to ask for it. The menus are not placed in front of customers upside down. (And I even brought it to her attention and she still didn’t correct it) ?? All in all the server was trying very hard to be attentive. The food was not terrible, it's typical bar food, and dont expect anything more. The Boom Boom shrimp are pre breaded frozen shrimp with the tails on and then fried and covered in some type of sauce. My daughter liked the boneless chicken wings with hot sauce. The onion rings I thought were good. I ordered the toasted Italian sub and wasn't offered the option to get tater tots -vs- fries. I didn’t realize this till later and the fries were soggy. I think this is an "OK" spot for someone looking for a bar atmosphere and same for the food & service.“

“First time eating at this restaurant. Seated immediately. Waitress came right away. Had the Italian hoagie with everything. The bread was so fresh. The deli meat was thinly sliced and piled high. Fresh potato chips as a side. The other entree we tried was the Turkey Reuben on rye. Rye bread was fresh. Sandwich was piled high. Onion rings were large and tasteful.

Dietary restrictions: There is an allergy notification at the bottom of the menu stating to inform of any restrictions

Parking: We got there about an hour after the Amish Market opened and had to park about 4 rows over toward the back of the parking lot

Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu. Reasonable prices. Good selection“

“This was my first time visiting at The Real Thing and it did not disappoint. I tried the chicken cheesesteak and it was delicious. It was full of meat and toppings. The hot sauce was a nice addition but if you don’t like your food too spicy, get it on the side. My daughter had the regular cheesesteak and it was equally good. We will definitely be back!!“

“I stop by once in a blue moon- most recently on the Saturday before Christmas while finishing up my shopping. I overheard a staff member telling another customer the wild salmon Niçoise was her favorite so I decided to order it. It was delicious, packed with flavor and very filling. I would absolutely order it again.

This location’s interior would benefit from an interior upgrade or even just a refresh. Of course the space is still functional, but it has a 90s/early 2000s feel to it and it would be nice to see how it would feel with some new touches. New tables and better lighting can really go a long way.“

“We were staying at the Sheraton, so this was very convenient for us. The first night we were there we went to the bar for a couple drinks, the bartender was very friendly and she made a nice strong drink. On night number two, we went back to the bar, the drinks were great again, so we decided to have a little late night food. The wings were great, nice and crispy and well seasoned, the crab stuffed mushrooms were small and lacked flavor. We had the same bartender, who again was extremely fun to talk to. All in all this is a good spot if you are traveling and staying in the area.“

“I’ve been there for different family get together occasions,dinners,etc. they’ve got a good balance between having more simple,cheaper meals,kids meals that are more affordable,fast food,and more expensive nicer meals if you want like meat,so on.. good place for a party dinner,little celebration,but nothing too crazy. The atmosphere is kinda like there’s a lot of people spread out near you at different tables,usually family’s eating together,so don’t expect it to be super quiet.

Parking: No need to worry

Kid-friendliness: I think they’ve got those chairs for the kids,and so,it’s a pretty kid friendly place. Anyhow,its generally more family frequented,so you’ll see that there.“

“The Best out of all the other America’s Best Wings. Always fast. Clean. The young ladies are pretty quick with getting customers serviced. The food is always good. Over 5 wings you should get more than 1 sauce and not have to pay for a bag otherwise I’m satisfied.“
