We decided to try the actual restaurant part tonight for dinner. The food was outstanding and our waiter was attentive and very friendly. Very lively, festive atmosphere, but my one complaint is, MAN, was it loud in there. My daughter spent the first 10 minutes after we got there holding her ears because it was so noisy. I was greeted by a very nice young lady who answered all my questions as well as provided free samples. I ordered the Nica Bowl and Hubby ordered the Tide Bowl. I enjoyed checking out the visuals in this place while waiting. The menu is conveniently located on the wall by register w options galore and descriptions. Plenty of substitutions and add ins. Pineapple decor, 2 picture walls, meal bars for sale, etc. Once our bowls were complete, they came out Yelp, IG picture ready !! The only thing better than their appearance was their taste. We could taste each fresh ingredient that fit perfect w the bowls. 1/3 of the way in, we were full. I forced my bowl down. Hubby brought his home to freeze and eat the next day. No complaints. I signed up for their customer loyalty program and can't wait to revisit. I want to try a Green Bowl and Smoothie. Great event, fantastic service, quality bowls, etc. Job well done Playa Playa !!“

“Finally found my go to dining spot in Towson: Kathmandu did not disappoint. Manoj, owner's nephew, provided excellent service. Everything I ordered was pretty delish: veggie pakora, chicken soup and chicken gorkhali. Particularly loved the flavoring and spices of gorkhali, and sliced ginger pieces make each bite that much nicer. This will be a repeat dining spot for my Towson business stays. Highly recommend this place to anyone that likes Nepalese and Indian cuisine as many of their dishes are a crossover from Indian food.“

“On July 25th I ordered 1 doz. Large Steamed Crabs ($95) from Madonna Seafood. Madonna "used" to be the best place for crabs. They were always consistently seasoned well....that was not the case yesterday. This dozen was completely dried out...they were either VERY overcooked or my guess is they were re-cooked. Definitely not worth $95....please retrain your steaming team or you will lose business. i will be going elsewhere.“

“I was trying to stay away from ice-cream until hubby stopped in here. We went in and the location is very nice. The young lady was pleasant and allowed us to try a few flavors. The ice cream tasted very good. I got the brownie and ice cream and enjoyed it. Next time I might try the chocolate chip cookie and ice cream.“

“We are a local business and we ordered 25 pizzas for a holiday party. Best prices around and the pizza was delicious. Called the day of to confirm 6 pm delivery. 6pm the driver walked in the door. He was incredible nice and helped set up the pizzas. We are a few miles away and it was rush hour. The pizzas were so hot that we had to wait a few for them to cook down. One of the best pizza places that I have purchased from and will definitely order from them again.“

“I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here! I got an order of chicken flautas and they came on a massive bed of lettuce, cotija cheese, spicy pickled veggies, and a quarter lime. Really well presented considering it was in a plastic container from a trailer! They were crispy and delicious. The churros are amazing, almost tasted like they were cream filled. The time before, I got a chorizo burrito and it was equally as delicious. The ladies cooking are friendly and quick. And you can fill up your gas tank, check your oil level, and clean your windows at the gas station while you wait. I'd add pictures, but my family inhaled the flautas before I could even unlock my phone.“

“Positive changes happening here!! New cooks/crew that are serious about introducing different foods for the healthy palate. Tried the pseudo-Tuna Melt (tuna made of carrot), cashew cheese, lettuce, tomato, thinly sliced onion for me, served on sprouted (?) bread, toasted nicely. Surprisingly good & filling. Nice size sandwich, too. Only ate half & took the rest home. Other new options include a beet-pastrami sandwich. The extraordinary Reuben, always a favorite here, now uses marinated tempeh (marinated in-house) instead of the previous type. I sampled the marinated version and it was more flavorful and worth the try another time. The tuna and cashew cheese are also made in-house. I found Tak (forgive if not spelled correctly) knowledgeable about veggie food and cooking with a background in veg food preparation. Very professional & personable. Christy, also, a maker-of-food, was not in yesterday, but seems to a good group. Look forward to trying more new, creative additions to existing menu. Thanks for the meal yesterday everyone!! “FANTASTIC! I just tried a couple tacos on a whim from their truck at Taylor Ave and Loch Raven Blvd. and I'm very glad I did. I got the shrimp taco and the taco al pastor. Both were well crafted, the core proteins flavorful, the cheese, sauce and vegetables all extremely fresh, the shells hearty. The shrimp was especially fantastic, the seasoning didn't overpower its wonderful natural flavor, and the mild crumbled white cheese (queso fresco?) was a very nice compliment. The Taco al pastor was equally well made, and even more flavorful, with a unique blend of seasonings. While the seasoning wasn't my personal favorite, (slightly sweeter than I would like, though not extreme, with I think a little bit of cinnamon?) I was still happy to eat it, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new flavor. Overall 5⭐ out of 5“
