The food is delicious but the wait is ridiculous. Regardless of eating there or taking out. You will be in line for a while if they are busy. Is the food woth the wait? Yes, yes it is! Their poke chops over rice and gravy reminds me of grandma's home cooking. The collard greens are 2nd to none. I get extra and you should too.
I've been coming here for years. I live in Philadelphia but when I get a craving for their greens, Mac and cheese and short ribs, I have no problem jumping in my car for the 2 hour drive to satisfy it!
This was my first time at this restaurant and this location. I was pleasantly pleased with the customer service, dining seating, atmosphere, food. I had the Whiting with two sides. Side salad and Mac/ cheese... taste like home. Food came out hot. I shall return soon.
