As they said, they moved spots into the grand mart grocery store. Don’t get it confused with old place with new owners and almost same name. Food is still as great as ever and still fresh. Love this place

Tacos 5 DE Mayo Restaurant has moved spots into the grand mart grocery store. It should not be confused with the old place with new owners and almost same name. The food is still as great as ever and still fresh. The food is delicious and fresh, with flavor definitely there. The food has not stopped being consistently good, with a home made feel. Comida sabrosa y authentica. The Sopa de pancita is just like Grandma would make and beats most spots. The staff is friendly, with nice music playing and booster seats for toddlers. Free parking makes it easy to find this spot. Cut mango is available while waiting for chilaquiles. The lengua is tender and flavorful, the mango is perfectly ripe, and there are free toppings for both from the self serve salsa station. The food is really good and they give a lot. The nachos are filled with cheese and meat. The location is sketchy, with broken pavement and homeless people walking around. The outside of the building does not compare to the nice inside. The people working acted as if they were doing a favor, but the food made up for it. The food is delicious and fresh, with a salsa bar with at least 8 different types of salsas in huge tubs to use for a meal or with chips. It is a perfect hole in the wall find. The food is consistently high-quality, the sauces are absolutely amazing, everything is cooked well, the chips are great, and the papusas are outstanding. The staff is very friendly.
