“We switched to the LaPlata location after COVID because Waldorf seemingly couldn't make a pizza without burning it and it was often difficult to get someone to answer the phone. Since then, I order from LaPlata every Sunday, and we also celebrate my kids' birthdays there. We've NEVER had a problem; even when they're slammed the waitress (I'm sorry, I don't know her name) is always on her game. I deal with the same people every week and they're always pleasant. I see a bunch of negative reviews and I'm more inclined to believe the majority are just miserable people who either want something for nothing or just want to complain. It's a pizza place... if you want a 5-star dining experience and gourmet meals, then go to Old Town Alexandria and pay $125-150 for a meal.“

“If you have not tried the monthly wine and food tasting experience at Carrabba's you are missing a wonderful treat. They offer delicious eats that are amazing and not on the regular menu with great wine pairings. They even give you an extra tasting for each wine. I have found two great wines because of this experience. Great for a girlfriends night out or for date night. Enjoy!“

“My wife and I visited Rucci"s Italian Kitchen & Grill today. It was our first time at the establishment. The food was tastful and the atmosphere was fine. The only reason I cannot give it five stars is our server Jessica was very inattentive to us as we watch other servers in the area cater to their assigned tables constantly insuring their patrons had everthing they needed. I needed water as my glass was empty. When our server finally returned, I stated I could use some water, she never acknowledge me and walk away with our utensils. Moments later another young lady shows up to fill my glass with water. So it was obvious my server heard me but didn't acknowledge my request vocally. I can overlook a dish I didn't like, this wasn't the case here. But bad service really turns me off. Everyone esle who came by our table i.e. management and possible the owner I'm not sure, were polite and courteous.“
