Steakhouses near La Vale

“My husband and I were in town for the night and were really wanting a nice steak. We pulled into Longhorn, which was packed, and decided to try Texas Grillhouse. We were glad we did! We each got a steak with a baked potato, he got broccoli and cheese, I got a side salad, and let me tell you, we were satisfied! It definitely hit the spot! We also got something like a blooming onion as an appetizer, I believe it was called Texas Tumbleweed? It was so good! All in all, we had a great meal, great experience, and finished up our leftovers shortly after getting to our hotel! Will definitely be back next time we are in the neighborhood!“

“This is a solid steakhouse and bar combo, with a no frills, casual vibe. The service is prompt and on point, the food quality rivals some of the nicer DC steakhouses but at a modest price. In addition to great steaks and salads, the pub food (sandwiches, burgers, fries fish) is pretty amazing. The shaved prime rib poutine is addictive, and the burgers are topnotch. There is also a nice deck for outdoor dining when the weather is good.“
