“This is my favorite place for Mexican food near me. The food has been more of what I was used to in other states. The service was good when we were there. They only had a small crew, but they were working hard to take care of everyone.”

“Yum!! Pasta (Sacchetti Ripieni alle Pere in Salsa di Crema e Porcini) is fabulous. I had a yummy martini at the bar while I waited on my takeout. NOTE: Even the bar requires reservations on a busy night, so plan ahead. I could only have 1 drink and then had to relinquish my seat for a res.”

“Today we visited for the first time! Newbies to making our own Boba tea but also not super experienced in it in general. The owner was there and was so kind and walked us through the process. Offered samples of any tea we wanted, gave ideas for mixes based on general flavors we liked, and made suggestions we had not considered that turned out to make the drink so much better. He helped my 7 year old put hers together and let her do it. Made her feel special! He was overall such a nice guy and great to chat with. The place is super clean and welcoming and there are a ton of board games and several arcade type games to play. Such a great environment for the whole family. Everything was tasty and super affordable AND they offer a great military discount which was a fun bonus. I can see my family coming back many times for fun drinks and some quality game time together.”

“Wed 4/24/24. Stopped in on the way from Richmond to Dover. Parked right up front. Greeters were on the ball and had 2 menus ready to seat us immediately. Mora was our server, came right away for our order, and took great care of us during our visit. Food order was correct and piping hot. “Do not get the cheesecake for dessert! They get it from an outside source and it arrives frozen. You can tell by how it crumbles. The Graham cracker crust is too thick. Another give away it is round like a Puck.Everything else was great. The creamed spinach and the mashed are plenty for two or three people. The seafood Bisque is excellent.Good pour on my scotch. My wife got a cab save by the glass and thought it was great. The coffee after dinner was strong but very good.”

“We recently hosted a baby shower party for our daughter at the Metropolitan Kitchen & Lounge in Annapolis. The staff made this event incredibly memorable, and it was easy to arrange and pull off. “I had the pleasure of visiting a family-owned restaurant in Annapolis yesterday and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The customer service was impeccable and the staff, including a young boy who is also learning, were incredibly kind and welcoming. I was thoroughly impressed with the authenticity and quality of the Vietnamese cuisine - it was simply delicious. Even though they recently opened their doors, I have no doubt that they will thrive in the future. If you're looking for a wonderful dining experience, I highly recommend giving this place a try. “This was our first visit, and boy, are we glad we decided to stop here. We were promptly seated and immediately greeted by our server, Keeley (sp?). She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and even offered some suggestions. Keeley was ver friendly and outgoing. Loved having her as our server! Keeley recommended the hush puppies; they were great!Hubby and I both ordered 2 snow crab clusters, which came with corn and potatoes. We loved that we could choose our sauces (or no sauce) and our spiciness level. Our food arrived at our tabke in a timely manner and was hot. We opened up those steamer bags, and the tantalizing aroma was a delight. The crab legs, corn, and potatoes were cooked perfectly! Yummmmmm! What an enjoyable dinner. We will definitely be back!”

“This place went above and beyond. I’m in another state and called panicking trying to get some food to some people stranded in an airport returning from deployment. This establishment didn’t miss a beat. They asked how many and told me the meals would be on them. I had been trying to surprise the group and found out after placing the order that they finally made it through security. I was heartbroken. I had to call and cancel. I will forever be a repeat customer when I’m in the area!! Also look for the thank you card I’m sending because I just can’t say thank you enough. My only complaint is that they have ruined all other bubble tea places for me. Whenever I get bubble tea from somewhere else it NEVER compares and is always a disappointment.”

“This was our first time coming in and we really enjoyed our food. We got chicken and waffles, a classic crepe, and an egg and cheese crepe.The chicken was especially good!Staff was also super nice. There's a little coffee bar off to the side with sugar and different flavored creamers. I asked if they had just regular milk and they were able to give me some which was much appreciated.Definitely will be back.”

“This was our second visit to Annapolis and our second visit to this wonderfully warm pub.Stopped by for a couple of Jameson’s and a properly-poured Guinness on our way to check out the next day’s festivities at SHAMROCK THE DOCK.Seamus, a great bartender (as was Brian and a lovely young lady with an incredibly upbeat personality), recommended that we try the corned beef poppers. Delicious! Great Irish music on the sound system and good convo with the barkeeps made for fine craic!Wandered off and came back a wee bit later for the lamb cheesesteak—a wonderful variation on the old Philly classic!Stayed for a bit to listen to a fine singer who was doing some Irish classics….wanted to stay longer but this old coot, after a long drive and a “few” pick me ups, headed off for some rest before the next day’s excellent celebration of the Auld Saint’s special day.The bride and I have been to Ireland many times…the decor…the bartenders…the food…the music…GALWAY does its inspiration proud!”

“Kudos to Carroll’s Creek for a superb wine dinner last evening. The food was so delicious, service was impeccable and was accompanied by great Argentinian wines. We always have really good meals here, but the dinner last evening was outstanding in every way. Thank you to the sommelier, chef, kitchen staff, and servers who made for such an enjoyable evening.”

“We had Alberto’s for dinner tonight. We had enchiladas, El Mocajete, steamed clams and kids chicken finger (homemade). Everything was off the charts good! Highly recommend anything in the red mole sauce.”

“Used the self service kiosk to place my order. Got a customized standard sized açaí bowl with added fruit. Fruit were fresh, staff were friendly and they offer free wifi and a nice seating area. Located in Elvation Park, definitely recommend over tropical smoothie cafe.If I were to be picky, I would like to see the honey to be self applied rather than paying extra as well as chia seeds being available for self pour (unless it was available and I didn’t see it)Nonetheless still a solid place!”

“I wanted to stay in Annapolis but wasn't quite sure what I wanted to eat. Did a quick search and found this delight of a place. I was able to make reservations on the same day (Saturday) My wife and I arrived and were quickly seated. The restaurant has a nice intimate feel however this place was jumping. Tons of people inside with everyone having a good time. Our waitress was sweet. Made good suggestions and was very attentive. For starters we ordered the Crispy Calamri while my wife had a lemon drop for a drink. The Clamari was in fact crispy. Very solid crunch. The marinara sauce was PIPING hot. Good start to our dinner. The lemon drop was a good mix of alcohol and juice. They provide you the cup along with the remainder on the side. BIG TIME PLUS. For Dinner, I was starving. I ordered the Steak N Fries, along with the Rockfish and Not your Ordinary Mac & Cheese. The steak was delicious! Nice and juicy. Cooks to perfection. Fries were crispy. The Fish was tasty and the mashed potatoes were GREAT!!! The Mac & Cheese is definitely not ordinary. There was a tangy taste that I could do without. It was missing something but the rest of my food was so good I could easily overcook it. My wife ordered the Steak Brazil with mashed Potatoes & Broccoli. She also enjoyed her food. Broccoli was fresh. Mashed Potatoes were delicious. She preferred the filet cooked a little more but still ate them. I'd happily come back and plan on returning to J. Alexander. It was a great time. Great service, Wonderful atmosphere, and good food. I enjoyed myself.”

“We had a table reservation, but ended up staying at the bar because we were having so much fun there! The bar team is super knowledgeable and personable...and make a mean cocktail! We had the deviled eggs, mussels, and pizza...all outstanding. If we lived locally, we'd be regulars for sure! p.s. the deviled eggs were the best we've ever had...yes, they are that good!”
