“The order took about 15 minutes to complete. A little long, but the good came out for and fresh! Chicken was cooked just right, and the sauces were great. My favorite sauce was the honey mustard, but the other sauce was good too. The lady working in front was nice. Their slaw was awesome and the fries tasted freshly cut. “I got the chance to visit dat jerk with my father recently. I gave him the option going to silver diner or dat jerk. It took a sec for us to get our bearings but we were overall pleased with the options we ordered. The restaurant was very clean and had large portions of food which I believe matched the cost of food. I loved the roti. The wrap itself complimented the flavors inside. I opted to get the sauce on the side which was not the play since it wasn’t enough. Definitely won’t make that mistake again. They had a friendly staff that helped to guide us through the menu. “I recently ordered through Postmates from this location for delivery. I got the spring rolls, mango sticky rice, and curry puffs.

The spring rolls were really good, they had I think glass noodles along with the veggies inside. They are quite small so they give you 4 of them.

The curry puffs are an item I have gotten from multiple restaurants and theirs were on the small size but they give you 3 instead of the usual 2. They were a bunch more spicy compared to others and it was too spicy for my liking. This is the only time I haven't finished an order of curry puffs due to taste. The cucumber-vinegar sauce also wasn't very good. It wasn't vinegary enough, basically tasted watered down and this is a crucial part of the dish, so I was a bit disappointed.

The mango stick rice was incredibly good! The mango was perfectly fresh and ripe! They give you a decent portion of sticky rice with coconut and such on top. If for no other reason I'll be ordering from them again just to get more of this and to try other dishes!

A suggestion: one thing that would improve my experience and enjoyment is if the store had a sweet plum type sauce that wasn't spicy that was made in the restaurant with good natural ingredients. Many of the prepackaged sauces have ingredients I'm unable to eat due to food allergies. I would pay more, and order more often if I really liked the sauce. One example in the market is Chipotle makes their Polynesian sauce that I buy in the large bottles because it's the only sweet and sour type sauce I can eat and use it for all stores nuggets because they make it themselves without all the artificial ingredients. I also order coconut shrimp from red lobster as opposed to other places because I love their pina colada sauce.... just a thought. There are a lot of us who can't eat the artificial stuff. Msg is another one that commonly is a problem for those with migraine and it would be great if you had a good alternative. I think restaurants underestimate the value of a good sauce from scratch.“

“My first time trying this legendary favorite. The chicken was fresh. French fries hot. And I'm actually a fan of the Cole slaw. They have an outdoor seating option so you can bring your dog! Not to expensive at all. The serving sizes are pretty good as well. It's definitely worth the try.“

“I was a Commanders season ticket holder for 2 years. I can see how you would hate this if you aren’t a season ticket holder. For me, I was always able to bypass the line because of the season tickets, plus I had the food for 50% off. The only reason why I am on this page right now and leaving a review is because I was craving their chicken tenders and come to find out that this is the only actual location that exists in Maryland. This is the best food in FedEx field, but it’s just like any other restaurant in a stadium: expensive and the line takes forever if you aren’t a season ticket holder. Give them a little slack.“

We are unsure if someone in the community picked up a small stuffed black cat at this location but we are offering a reward if anyone did and can mail it to us. “Don Pollo is hands down the best spot for Peruvian roasted chicken in DC! If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out. “When ordering to go from their specialty menu check your food before you leave. I order (2) salmon with brussels sprouts and chaufa rice. When I got home what I saw was five pieces of brussels sprouts, two carrots and a portion of rice for a toddler. At least the salmon was a decent proportion. Not worth the money.“
