Chicken Shops near Wheaton Glenmont, MD

“The staff was very friendly and provided great customer service, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, the food didn't meet my expectations. I ordered the wings, and they tasted like they were cooked in old grease. Instead of being a nice golden brown, they came out dark brown and overly crispy, which affected both the flavor and quality. Based on my experience, I can understand why people say this place is hit or miss. I hope they improve the consistency because the customer service was definitely the highlight of my visit.“

“The crispy mushroom sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever. So crispy and full of flavor. Mac n cheese was pretty top shelf as well. Fast and friendly service.“

“Awesome“

“Great place to grab a chicken and cheese sub. Plenty of chicken for another sandwich…lol. Love this spot.“

“This Fried Chicken is unlike anything I have ever tasted. The boneless wings are SO PERFECT. They have a light and airy Ness to them and yet are ao wonderfully crispy. We always get the honey garlic boneless. They are truly amazing every time. I have never had anything like this, and will happily be coming here for years to come. Use scissors to cut up the chicken and get some rice and pickled radish to make it truly a taste perfection.“

“The food here is amazing. The atmosphere is wonderful and (to my knowledge) this is authentic Salvadoran food. The rotisserie chicken was the star of the show. I got half a bird with rice and plantains. I made a rookie mistake and got 4 hot sauces instead of the 2 hots and 2 milds. Definitely start with the mild unless you really like the heat. The skin was so crispy and the chicken breast were juicy. The music and the smell of charcoal is the best part. I would recommend calling in your order or placing it online. I waited about 15 minutes for my bird, but it was worth it because I knew it was fresh. I will definitely check this place out again in the future.“

“Chicken and Mac was 🔥 🔥 🔥“

“Octavian at Roaming Rooster in Bladensburg provided excellent customer service. He has the perfect mixture of attentiveness, efficiency, and enthusiastic service. And the food was delicious. As a first time customer I was impressed and will definitely return to this location“

“Clean, bright, and good vibes all around. A great spot to chill and enjoy some spicy food. Laid-back atmosphere with good music and a welcoming feel. The chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy—easily some of the best Nashville-style hot chicken I’ve had!“

“fast service, great food, and the best Peruvian-style chicken in Columbia Heights.“

“Really good hidden little Korean Fried Chicken spot. Plenty of options, good servings for the price (relative to the KFC standards of this area) and a great selection of flavors for the chicken itself. I’m something of a fried chicken fanatic and can confidently say this is a sleeper gem. Definitely check it out.“

“🌶❤️🌶 We love the delicious chicken at Nando’s! They have awesome vegetarian items as well! Get the warm pastels de Natas for dessert. Life changing!!“

“Very nicely priced tasty dinners- half chicken with suitably prepared sides- plantains, rice and beans, vegetable rice. Spicy sauces also can kick up the flavor a notch. Pleasant courteous professional staff in a clean well lighted place. I will recommend to come here“

“All around DC and Maryland, I see masks, and many wear them, Dave's is real, to be fair then, they are the realest, the chicken is everything.

I order 2 cause ones not enough, I dip my fries and then I stuff, Dave's sauce is from outer space, and upon first taste, it brings a smile to my face. I Thank you Dave's.“

“I love the nandos experience....the area is very calming and very easy on the eye..if I ever move to DC that is the area to be in..much respect to Tammy..and the young guy who came to ask if we were good...yes people lets do our part to keep them employed...good job“

“The original Rotisserie chicken is season perfectly, I love the corn salad it marinates with the campero rice as well“

“I tried their food for the first time yesterday, based on a recommendation of a new employee at my place of work. I was absolutely shocked by how delicious the sandwich was. The chicken was crispy and juicy and the rooster sauce was dynamite! After lunch, I recommended it to another coworker who then also ordered it for lunch and tried it for the first time. She said she had the same experience I had- life changing! If you’re looking for a chicken sandwich, this is the place to go!“

“It’s absolutely delicious! As a Brazilian, this kind of food feels so familiar and comforting - it really tastes like home. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!😍“

“Good sevice“

“Food was good but they cheap with sauce. You bought 1 order of 1/2chicken w/2sides you get the same amount of sauce for 4 orders of 1/2 chicken. This is in Bowie Md location. I guess I am not coming back there again.“

“I would like to shout out to Ms.Aira Supervisor of Jollibee at Wheaton MD. I had light concern regarding with my delivery order (missing some chicken) maybe the delivery ate them idk 🤷‍♀ anyhow to make it short Ms.Aira supervisor solve the problem and replace 2pc of chicken instead of accepting her offer refund $ which i prefer my favorite chicken, Aira was very helpful and solving problem easy. A big thank to her my craving fulfilled“

“Always love getting their grilled chicken, and Carlos always brings a smile to my face whenever he works. Jose got me hooked on their Pollo sauce and I keep begging them to sell the sauce in a jar (lol) love the friendly staff and the Bethesda spot is by far my favorite location“

“Great service and very good food.“

“Ordered a jumbo-size pizza from a college-town pizzeria, so I wasn't expecting fine dining. 😂 The customer service was impeccable, everyone was very friendly, and the premises were clean, so no complaints there.

Now, the pizza... 🍕😂 This thing was so greasy, I swear it came with a side of oil. The pizza was huge, but there was absolutely no toaster to it. The grease was so heavy that I could still taste the oil the next morning. 😂

I can forgive a little grease on a late-night college-town pizza, but when the oil makes it to breakfast the next morning, that's taking commitment to a whole new level. 😂 Hopefully they ease up on the oil next time!“

“First off i wanna say I've been coming to this store since the day it open and I must say that the food is great. The atmosphere when you walk in is so welcoming.but this review is particularly for one individual who mostly works at night He deserves every bit of recognition he can get.every time I come in he greets me by name he's always smiling and he makes sure everyone is taking care of.i always hear him telling his team she's a regular and to make sure they get my order right.and if they are busy he communicates that very well with the guest in the lobby.sometimes I can hear him in the back instructing his other team members of things he needs to complete an order or things like which order to work on first.i can go for days about this guy.he's really good at what he does.i highly recommended.“

“My neighbor and I just stopped in 9-25-25 on our way home from work. I’ve tried all the chicken spots. This is the best I’ve had!!! The staff… super friendly. The beans and rice... amazing! That chicken was fresh and hot!
We will come back soon!“

“Amazing! I went here this morning, 3/28 around 10am, and the staff was amazzinggg extremely friendly went completely above and beyond. Every last person there was great. They offered to refill my coffee, cleaned our table, took the extra time no other place does to help us with our complicated order. You can’t find customer service like this anymore. A gem 💎“

“I really enjoy stopping by here whenever I am looking for a quick and reliable meal that I know will taste good. The chicken sandwich is always cooked perfectly with that nice crunch, and the waffle fries are honestly some of my favorite fast-food sides. The service is usually incredibly fast and polite, even when the drive-thru line is wrapping around the building. It is a solid choice for a fast lunch, and I almost always leave happy with my meal.“

“It's always delicious to pass by a campero! In this establishment the cashier was very friendly and attentive! And the table area was clean.

Parking: It has ample parking, you just have to be careful since the drive thru is a few steps from the entrance. It is necessary to be attentive.“

“The food was awesome! Atmosphere was beautiful 🤩“

“Guys, correct me if i m wrong but the workers here said ALL the food is HALAL!! and i ate here.. May Allah forgive me if the food was not halal halal.. but it tasted great.?They should advertise the keyword HALAL to attract more business, i mean i would just eat subway tuna sandwich again ? if i had not walked in and asked if they have anythin halal..“
