“This is a solid breakfast and lunch spot very close to downtown Silver Spring. This is a local mom-and-pop shop that is run by the cutest older couple. I have had breakfast sandwiches, omelets, their breakfast burrito, and I haven't been disappointed with the food yet. While they do have chairs inside, it is really a take-out spot.

This a solid place for your essential breakfast and lunch. I try to always support local and small businesses.“

“Generous Joe's is a staple of the Greenbelt Community and not only is it a great place to eat with good food but was also a great place to work at, Joe was a great owner and Aaron a great Manager. I am happy to see the place grow and to see the new ideas that are coming into play under the ownership of Aaron while still maintaining and respecting the tradition of Joe's as well. My favorite menu items are the turkey bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches; steak and cheese sandwich; and jerk mumbo chicken wings during happy hour. You can dine-in, or take out. I'd suggest calling ahead to reduce wait time if you're limited. Occasional special events like brunch or big sports events bring the community out and pack the place.“

They have a balsamic vinagret dressing that is so good. I recommend this place. They serve all sorts of food, there's something for every taste. “I went to this deli just around the corner from my job, and overall, it was a decent experience. I got the grits, eggs, turkey bacon, and pancakes. The eggs and grits were absolutely immaculate, really well done! The turkey bacon was a little overcooked, and the pancakes were drenched in butter, so if you prefer them a bit lighter, just a heads up. The atmosphere is okay, though they could really use a makeover. That said, the service was fantastic, and I’ll definitely be returning. I’d give it a 4-star rating“

“Delicious sandwiches by a local shop in an area where there are very few (no?) lunch options. I attended a conference nearby and without Cafe Twelve I would have had to order delivery. I hope this shop hangs on! They had reduced staff when I went and the shop is sparse but the food is freshly made, tasty, and hits the spot. If you're part of the flood of feds returning in office be kind and patient with them as they adapt back to a larger customer base, too.“
