“Cakes Plus provided a wonderful cake for my son's wedding several years ago, so my son recommended the bakery when I wanted to purchase a cake for my grandson's 30th birthday. I knew the words I wanted written on the cake, but didn't have a design in mind. Many, many thanks to Hannah for her patience and for helping me nail the perfect design!! Everyone loved the vanilla sheet cake. (See picture.) It was beautiful and delicious. Then, when I went to pickup the vanilla sheet cake, on a whim, I decided to also purchase a smaller, off the shelf, lemon cake with a balloon design. People who tried both cakes at the birthday events said both were amazing, but they loved the taste of the lemon cake more than the vanilla. I wish we weren't limited to rating this bakery 5 stars! Lol!!“

“These cakes in any size are always delicious and amazing! The customer service is always top tier. The only statement I have is I tried the new banana pudding cake and didn’t taste much of the banana flavor, but the cake was amazing and moist! The addition of the Nilla wafers was such a treat and compliments the cake great!“

Stop in Stoltzfus Bakery at the Dutch Market in Laurel Md. Old fashioned Baked items of all kinds, at a great Market, Twenty minutes from B’More and DC, just a couple miles from 295 or 95 making it the easiest Md Farmers Market to get in and out of. On 198 across from the Laurel Horse Races. Talk to authentic Amish owners, Ben or Ike while you’re there. Cakes ,Pies, Quiches, Cupcakes ,Loaves, Cookies, Muffins, Whoopies, Fry Pies, Fresh Doughnuts, Custom cake decorating upon request and much much more. Plenty of parking and refreshments.“

“I am not a customer who comes here for the pastries, however, they also make great Tamales and have them available in an electric warmer oven ready to go. They offer chicken and turkey varieties. Price is very reasonable. Get there earlier than later.“

“Chela was able to turn my order around quickly. Payment and pick-up were a breeze. I was looking for a bakery that could provide specialty cupcakes for a prom but didn't realize how challenging the request would be. The cupcakes were much larger than I expected (more like muffins). My guests enjoyed the icing but found it difficult to eat the entire muffin. The presentation was also a bit disappointing but served its purpose. I purchased 2 dozen and still have an entire box left (last photo).“

“There are 2 locations and the original has sweet people working, even on hectic days they keep a good attitude.
I love getting their sweet breads, tamales pan frances and of course cakes for special occasions.
Today is my son's birthday so we went for the chocolate flavored cake that has fruit on top and since it had cherries his favorite that's the one for today.
My family have been enjoying their treats for over 15 years and as long as their still around that's our number one choice.
2nd location is nearer to my house and I finally tried their food. I will say those pupusas were the best I've had since the motherland.
Macaroni salad and carne guisado is heavenly. Now those are my taste buds but I do recommend you go.

“See alot favoritism when sellingholders everytme go place very clean tho very first time went won star got 1450 some one won with me but I was on star not thiers.got neat jacket also.i have cool time when I go even if I don't win nice bingo place. I c people bring back old cards to play not fair.workers not paying attention or don't care.workers need to smile more some seem like they hate job and it shows. People will come to play in a good environment when getting treated like real guests. Smiles are free.

“Lydianne's Soft Pretzels is to die for!

I am not a huge pretzel fan but for these pretzels I could eat them every day!
The dough is freshly made, soft. The breading is a bit sweeter than you would typically taste in the average pretzel. They have a variety of ways that you can have your pretzel. Breakfast themed logs in the morning with bacon, sausage, eggs, etc inside. Some sweet options like cinnamon and some savory.

They also have lemonade and tea to drink.

The service is quick. There is barely any wait in between ordering and receiving your items.

As soon as you walk into the Dutch market they will be the first vendor to the right.
