In 6 years I've seen Atwater's with a great track record for hiring and training members of its team. But I'd like to credit two in particular today. Joey, the new manager settled into his role quickly just this year and is very engaging, friendly, and happy to help customers directly alongside his team. Alyssa is another fantastic worker and leader in the team. Always paying attention and focused on keeping everything in order and working efficiently. The whole team performs well. But she routinely performs above the standard.“

I was getting miffed, then the owner Brian gets on the phone explains the situation and does everything in his power to make it up to me. It made me feel heard and respected as a customer. “Cakes Plus was awesome. I purchased two cakes within 3 months. One being a wedding and the other was a Sweet 16. From sitting down with flavor options to the patience of our design selection, these ladies were professional and knowledgeable. During the pickup, the representative was patient with explaining how to debox the wedding cake. I was surprised and grateful to hear of the free anniversary tier. We returned two days later for the Sweet 16 cake. They accommodated us by adding some details on the spot. Thanks for making our weekend festivities a success. I will add pics later.“

I’ve been to this cafe a couple of times and had great food and drinks both times. Most recently I went for Saturday brunch with a friend. I should have expected it, but the line was very long. That said, the girl at the counter was working her tail off not only talking orders but also making all of the beverages for each order (including seasonal lattes). Everyone in the kitchen seemed to be working non stop, so I give them kudos for such a delicious meal.

I got The Ian (toast with smoked salmon and poached eggs) and my friend got the OG breakfast bowl. Both were delicious and we cleaned our plates. We also both got oat milk PSL’s which were flavorful and yummy.

We sat upstairs, which was a bright and had plenty of extra seating despite the downstairs being pretty packed. We sat and talked for a while, and someone came around to ask how the meal was and take our dishes, which was nice. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful.

I didn’t order any baked goods, but I did notice they have a variety of Greek sweets as well as even some vegan baked goods. They all looked incredible, and I’ll be trying something next time.“
