About Kanom Cafe

Kanom Cafe is a charming establishment known for its flaky pastries, including the pain au chocolat and the matcha chocolate chip cookie. This cute family-owned shop is praised for having the best savory breakfast pastries in Baltimore, with the garlic cream cheese bun and the matcha cheesecake receiving special mentions. The ham and cheese croissant and chicken pesto dishes are also popular among customers. The cafe offers a delightful Thai style iced coffee and comfortable outdoor seating, making it a great neighborhood spot for coffee and pastries. The atmosphere is described as cute, chic, and modern, perfect for work, relaxation, or studying. The croissants are large, fluffy, and buttery, while the desserts, especially the macarons, are decadent. Many consider Kanom Cafe the best place for croissants in the area, rivaling those found in France. The food and drinks are very tasty, with baked goods fresh from the oven creating a warm and inviting environment. The cafe is quiet, friendly, and kid-friendly, with sports and Pop! Figurines around. It is also accessible with a front ramp, though assistance may be needed at the top. During fall and spring, many college students come to study, but there is almost always room to sit and chill or work. The outdoor seating is pleasant, making it an ideal spot for relaxing moments.

Enjoyed the food and atmosphere! Customer service. They took the time to explain the drink options and answer any questions that we had! Great customer service, great food and great atmosphere! I saw customers of all ages here! Elderly to elementary school student!

*The tomato pesto pastry was OUTSTANDING!
This place was a nice spot to grab a quick bite. Went with friends and got a pistachio croissant, almond croissant, chocolate croissant, basque cheesecake, cream cheese garlic bread, and vanilla matcha latte. The food was tasty and all bakery items were fresh. The matcha latte wasn’t that good and didn’t have a strong matcha flavor even with the extra scoop of matcha (+ $1). The worker was kind and patient w our large order. Overall, great place.
love the cozy feeling, great atmosphere and amazing coffee and this cream cheese bread is waowww 😳🔥🔥 love it!! ❤️
