A little shack on the side of route 198. Standard Tex Mex and carry out. I've been coming here since the early 1970's. It was called Tippy's Tacos ? in those days. The same family stayed with it when the name changed. Cornerstone of old locals, you could say.
The beef tacos are amazing! I love them so much I typically order like 10. The chicken tacos are not my favorite. I don’t typically eat there as the inside is somewhat run down and depressing looking. If you aren’t a local, you wouldn’t blink twice at this place.Parking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Yes

I love this place. Used to go to Tippy's Tacos in College Park....for many years, and only realized the connection about 10 years ago. I don't go anywhere else for tacos or any Mexican food. Their guacamole is top notch. Even the sodas are good! I like the low key atmosphere and the staff are quite nice. Toucan Taco is the best place to go if you want good food, low key atmosphere and good people.
