“I ordered house lomein but they got the order wrong and made pork.lomein. I was hungry so I just took it. It was a 6.5 out of 10. There is spice, maybe clove, that overwhelms the pork. The dumplings were good. The eggs rolls were mid and greasy. I won't refuse to go back but I'm not planning to return anytime soon.”

“Just discovered a gem nearby. I ate at Kandahar on 36th Street. It is owned by the previous general manager of The Helmand. What a delight. Most reasonable prices and the food was excellent. The last few times I went to the downtown location it wasn't as good, I now know why. If you haven't been there, I promise, you won't be disappointed. 5 stars”

“Dave’s Hot Chicken in Owings Mills seriously lives up to the hype. The sliders were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the spice level was actually consistent with what I ordered (hot but still enjoyable). The fries were perfectly seasoned, and the staff was friendly and kept the line moving even though it was busy. The place was clean, the vibes were good, and I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m craving Nashville-style heat.”

And they give you a healthy portion. I opted to have it a little spicy and it was the perfect amount of spice. Found my new favorite dish to order!”

“I really enjoy the aesthetic of this place. I always get an old speckled hen to drink and the typhoon fries with pork belly. The rice cakes are amazing too. “I was on the way to lunch and saw a coworker of mine's walking to Terry's cafe. At the time I didn't know he was going to Terry's cafe, I picked him up he took me there and I ordered my food. They were so friendly the food delicious and the owners were very courteous and professional and even gave me 3 chocolate chip cookies free. Highly recommended 5 stars if I could give more I will give them 10 stars.”

“I just ate what was probably well over my 100th pit beef sandwich from Jake’s Grill in my lifetime. I am blown away by how tender the beef is each and every time.

Don’t bet on the Ravens, don’t bet on the weather, but you can bet every single time that your sandwich from Jake’s will not pull apart and fall apart because the pit beef is tough. This is the food of life.

And don’t forget the ribs which sell out every day.”
