Don’t bet on the Ravens, don’t bet on the weather, but you can bet every single time that your sandwich from Jake’s will not pull apart and fall apart because the pit beef is tough. This is the food of life.

“Randomly driving through Timonium on our way back to PA we were looking for food. Fuentes showed with good reviews and we stopped. Now once a month (sometimes more) we drive an hour back to Timonium for amazing food. We’ve even brought family down here. The italian food is plentiful and tasty but the fish and shrimp tacos are our favorite. A lovely couple owns the place and they cook all the food and they’ve always been kind to us. We hope to come here for many more years.“

“My husband and I had a late breakfast at the Timonium location on December 27, 2024. Upon arrival, at almost 11:30 AM, the hostess named Samantha, was seating another group of people. We watched Samantha clean tables, set place settings, before returning and seating us. We soon took note that this very pleasant hostess/greeter was taking on several jobs: we watched her methodically bus tables, return to awaiting guests in line and proceed to repeat the same process...while also being the cashier for departing guests who were paying their bill. As more and more people arrived, we watched Samantha's professionalism never waiver. Our waitress named Kelly was also pleasant. She quickly took our order and soon returned with drinks. Not long later, another kitchen helper returned with our plates of food. I commented on how well everyone was working and gave a special appreciation to Samantha. We observed Samantha rearrange tables to accommodate groups of people while maintaining her warm smile that revealed her love for her job and customers! The food was delicious, and the service was above standard. Employees at this location really work well together but Kudos to Ms. Samantha who worked above and beyond expectations!!!“

“I hosted a corporate dinner party at Boordy last night, and it was my first time being at their facility and getting to experience what they offer. After a miscommunication between myself and the (external) caterer, who was providing food for the event, I was left scrambling to figure out how to accommodate all of my guests in a very short amount of time. Grace and Carly immediately leapt into action and saved the day, no questions asked. They went above and beyond to help out, never once stressing out or making the inconvenience seem like an inconvenience. It was top notch service from both of them all night and extremely appreciated! The wine was wonderful, the space was great and I can't say enough good things about the service. “Food: The food at J’Ville Grille is always delicious. No complaints there - at all!
Atmosphere: Friendly, but it gets SO loud when it is crowded, though... Uncomfortably loud.
Service, however, can be hit or miss. Today I brought my grandsons and daughter-in-law for lunch. We arrived around 12:20 pm and seated ourselves. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy, though there were a good number of patrons. It was clear the gentleman working was handling both the floor and the bar, and was clearly understaffed, yet doing his very best. I was as patient and gracious as possible given the situation.
He took our drink order right away, and we placed the order for the kids right then. Their food came out almost immediately. Unfortunately, our order wasn’t taken until around 12:55 pm, when a younger female employee walked by and I politely asked if she wouldn’t mind taking our order, which she did.
We both ordered the raspberry chicken wrap (delicious!). She asked if we wanted fries with that, and I replied, “Oh, it comes with a side?” She confirmed that it did and verbally stated the side options out loud, but did not mention that any of the options carried an upcharge. Based on that, I chose the onion rings (also delicious!), while my daughter chose sweet potato fries, which were delicious as well — and a MUCH more generous portion than the onion rings, sadly. Did I mention they are delicious? :)
Once we received our food and were finished eating... I had to flag down an older female employee to get our check. I was surprised to see we were charged $4 per side. When I explained the earlier interaction regarding our sides, her response was simply, “Well, it’s on the menu,” delivered with an unnecessary attitude & look on her face like I was to blame. An apology of any misunderstanding and an offer to remove the up-charge, which I would have politely declined, would have been more effective & appropriate considering the cost of 10 slices of onion and one sweet potato... Is that REALLY worth insulting me?
That response, unfortunately, affected the remainder of the experience. I am someone who always tips at least 20%, especially when staff are short-handed and doing their very best, but in this case the lack of courtesy and accountability resulted in a much smaller tip than I normally leave. Truthfully, she's lucky I left one, at all, due to her attitude!
The food is consistently excellent and keeps me coming back. I just hope service consistency — and communication — improves.“

They were always consistently seasoned well....that was not the case yesterday. This dozen was completely dried out...they were either VERY overcooked or my guess is they were re-cooked. Definitely not worth $95....please retrain your steaming team or you will lose business. i will be going elsewhere.“

“Our table was not ready though our server motioned us to sit down while an extra table was added. No apologies, just: sit down, like we were inconveniencing her! Her attitude was approaching on rude. Orders were taken without comment, just looks. Soups were spilled onto saucers,no apologies. Coffee was served twice without spoons, containers were brought while people were still eating, same with bill. Everything was rushed, without a smile or occasional: can I get you anything or is everything ok? And why as a fine restaurant are you serving salad dressing in cheap plastic containers???“

I highly recommend Casa Mia's for a casual dinner or a catered party. I thanks to Leah and Mark for all of their in the planning and on the day of the party.
