“It was pretty good! We were very surprised by the portions, nice and Large. For the price compared to where we live in NY, it was a steal! The food itself was ok, par for the course in this type of place.

“I’ll be honest, I was both excited and skeptical about trying Wonder when it first opened. The whole concept seemed a little strange to me, and I wasn’t sure how it would actually work. Since they were offering 50% off for first time customers when I went, I figured it was worth a try.

We ordered a pizza from Alanza, a double cheeseburger from Burger Baby, and a Build Your Own Bowl from El Diez. Funny enough, the burger, which was the item I was least excited about based on how it looked, ended up being my favorite. It was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. The pizza was a little overdone, but I actually like my pizza that way, so no complaints there. The bowl was good too, though I felt like it was missing a little something. Maybe some extra lime or cilantro would have given it more of that fresh Mexican flavor.

I’d definitely come back and try some of the other restaurants they have. I also really liked the atmosphere. It was quiet, clean, and didn’t feel chaotic, which was nice. The kitchen area looked especially clean, which always leaves a good impression.

If you’ve been curious about Wonder and are looking to try something different, I’d say it’s worth checking out, especially while they’re offering 50% off for new customers. There’s a huge variety of food options, so it’s easy for everyone in your group to find something they’ll enjoy. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and left more impressed than I expected to be.“

“I just have to share the fantastic experience we had tonight. My husband and I went to The Local around 6:30 pm (prime time without reservations lol). The only available seats were a high top table in the bar area. They asked us if that was ok and we said “sure”. Within a minute or so after being seated, it became apparent that our vision of a nice relaxing dinner would be impossible in that room. The Preakness was about to begin, and that bar was loud and hopping! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, I love to see people enjoying themselves. It was a party, but just wasn’t our vibe tonight. We decided we would go elsewhere. We politely informed the hostess that we were going to leave because it was just a tad too noisy, but that we would definitely return again soon. We stressed that we were not mad, or upset. As we were walking to our car, a very nice gentleman followed us out and asked if we would consider returning if they could sit us elsewhere. We said “Of course!” We didn’t think there were any other available tables, but he said they would work something out for us. We told him we didn’t expect them to go out of their way for us and that we could wait. Within five minutes, we were seated at a lovely table in the dining room. We later learned the gentleman that helped us was none other than the owner/ executive chef Zack. We went on to have a delicious dinner with the most attentive and charming server. They demonstrated exemplary customer service, which sadly is lacking in many other establishments. We weren’t expecting any special treatment, but they certainly went above and beyond for us, and it was very much appreciated! When we were leaving, Zack happened to be outside, so he made sure to ask how our experience was. We told him it was amazing, and that his restaurant has been one of our favorites since it opened. We told him we would be back soon. Our experience there tonight is just one of many examples why this restaurant stands out, and why we will always highly recommend them! The Hostess, "Crystal" went above and beyond and truly brings the vibe, knows her role, her ability to engage customers, her energy.. We had Coco Bread(Better than Texas Roadhouse) , Salmond with Rice n peas and coconut cream sauce AND Jerk Chicken Rasta Pasta. So, following week we go back get the French onion soup it was so so I’d give it a 6 Out of 10. Ordered the sliders they came out well done the rolls were stale so they tried to heat them up that didn’t make them fresh now stale and burnt. Now the week before they didn’t try to toast the bun because they weren’t stale so they didn’t need to mask the bun! This was a tell tail they knew the buns were trash! So 1st visit was a solid 5! 2nd visit was barely a three. We will try them one more time I hope they get it right this time“

This is a family run business in the heart of Baltimore social life, between Inner Harbor, Harbor East and Fells Point (more to Fells Point side). It is our favorite Indian restaurant in Baltimore by far. My husband and I really enjoy their lunch buffets, they service freshly made food and have a variety of options. The lunch buffet has Indian salads, sometimes vegetable samosas, at least a few different meat entrees, at least a few different vegetable entrees, dessert, and always hot chai tea with sugar options. My husband and I enjoy going to not only eat the food, but also appreciate how friendly and hospitable Amir and his family are. They also have respectful staff, and run a very peaceful operation. We appreciate every visit, and when we leave, we feel like we have gained 5 pounds each (in a good way!). Looking forward to our next visit :) Thank you Mr. Amir and family!“

Joey was absolutely fantastic - setting us up at a table with an amazing view and checking on us multiple times during our visit. He offered to take our coats after we were seated and then offered to take pictures of us when we were on our way out. Ampersea has definitely been the most positive experience we have had during our trip. “Great Ramen! I forgot my biker leather jacket there about a month or so ago and I had got all the way back to my desk at my job when I realized that I left my jacket at Akira Ramen. I raced back there to get my jacket mostly because my car keys were in my pocket. I was panicking because my car was parked in a pay for the day public garage. I when I arrived the staff returned my jacket to me with my car keys in the pocket. Not only is the Ramen Great, the staff was good enough to hold my jacket for me until I returned.
