“Used to go to R&R when they were in a gas station in Elkridge. Hadn’t been since they moved downtown and all the Food Network hype in between. Just got some tacos and a California burrito at the Lombard Street location and was beyond pleasantly surprised. The flavors and quality of ingredients are still excellent. The staff were lovely, great service. I will be back :)“

“My experience at Oleum was wonderful. Let me be clear and say that I am not vegan. I live by the motto that bacon makes everything better! I sometimes have meals that are vegetarian, but almost never vegan. Why? Because most of the vegan choices I've had are bland, filled with fluff, and just questionable.

That was not the case at Oleum. First, there are a plethora of choices for everyone, in all the categories from starters to mains and desserts.

Everything that came out was delicious. There is thought placed into every dish and each ingredient serves a purpose. It is rare to find such a culinary delight.

I can imagine that for vegans whether for health reasons, or personal choice, finding a good place to eat that you can trust would be difficult. But look no further. This is your place. And for the skeptical carnivores, that simply are looking for something different, a new adventure, or just good food, try Oleum. You won't be disappointed.

So decided on it for the pizza, highly recommend, the following night while roaming again. Started speaking with a older woman behind the bar who is part owner and she was so delightful and informativ of the area of Little Italy and told me of some of the history associated with the area. The Hostess, "Crystal" went above and beyond and truly brings the vibe, knows her role, her ability to engage customers, her energy.. The food was and the presentation of the Flight Sampler was cool little birds.. We had Coco Bread(Better than Texas Roadhouse) , Salmond with Rice n peas and coconut cream sauce AND Jerk Chicken Rasta Pasta. “I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Ampersea! From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. Joey was absolutely fantastic - setting us up at a table with an amazing view and checking on us multiple times during our visit. He offered to take our coats after we were seated and then offered to take pictures of us when we were on our way out. Ampersea has definitely been the most positive experience we have had during our trip. I can honestly say that Joey is the sole reason we cannot wait to come back to enjoy a meal and a drink (or 2, or 3 haha) once the weather is nicer! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!“

(The crowd was all for pickup but they do have good dine-in space too.)
Yet, the quality of the food, the taste and spice was so good.
Had the egg white noodles 🍜 with mushrooms, spiced Breadcrumbs, spicy garlic sauce and parsley. Was so flavorful. Good quantity.
Going to be back again for sure. :)

“We stopped by Miss Shirley’s Cafe during a trip to Baltimore after seeing glowing reviews on Google Map. It lived up to the hype.

Got here around 10am on a Sunday and waited about 20 minutes for a table, which wasn’t bad considering the popularity.

The decor is fun, eclectic, and welcoming. The menu is huge with plenty of both sweet and savory options to choose from. We ordered the fried green tomato breakfast sandwich and the banana chocolate chips pancakes, and both were excellent. I’d order either again. One note: the hot chocolate is very sweet. I ordered it with the pancakes and found the combo too much. If you prefer less sweetness like I do, skip it.

Service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant seemed very well run despite the crowds. Though it’s popular with tourists, the food and overall experience make it well worth a visit.“

This is a family run business in the heart of Baltimore social life, between Inner Harbor, Harbor East and Fells Point (more to Fells Point side). It is our favorite Indian restaurant in Baltimore by far. My husband and I really enjoy their lunch buffets, they service freshly made food and have a variety of options. The lunch buffet has Indian salads, sometimes vegetable samosas, at least a few different meat entrees, at least a few different vegetable entrees, dessert, and always hot chai tea with sugar options. My husband and I enjoy going to not only eat the food, but also appreciate how friendly and hospitable Amir and his family are. They also have respectful staff, and run a very peaceful operation. We appreciate every visit, and when we leave, we feel like we have gained 5 pounds each (in a good way!). Looking forward to our next visit :) Thank you Mr. Amir and family!“

“This place is amazing. Their empanadas are absolutely the best in Maryland. Their Dominican steak bowl is AMAZING. The Korean bbq steak bowl… AMAZING!! My only complaint is their steak sub. While it was TOTALLY delicious, it was very small for $12. It was sooo good I wanted more.“

“My son Aaron is on the extreme end of the spectrum and Kiwi is his service dog. This morning, Aaron wanted to go to breakfast which he never asks to do. Sarah Renae and I go to Double T Diner White Marsh for lunch periodically. I called to see how busy they were and if they had booths available. We got a booth in the back (near that giant TV) our waiter was amazing so was the hostess. Aaron does not like going to eat at restaurants because far too often he's made to feel unwelcome because of his service dog. Let me be clear not telling him to leave and making him feel welcome like every other customer are not the same. Today, he was made to feel welcome. Today, his service dog (Kiwi) was made to feel welcome. After we ate breakfast which he had this huge pumpkin Belgium waffle with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, caramel and chocolate syrup with a side a bacon (only 12. 99) I let him pick out a desert for us to take home then he went outside while I paid. He picked the recess cheesecake for himself and the tiramisu for me. One of the hostesses came and asked how things where and if I was the one who had called earlier. I started to tear up as I thanked her and the staff for making Aaron feel welcome and like every other customer. I think it's important to acknowledge when a business not only does the right thing but does the right thing correctly and enthusiastically. “Rusty Scupper was amazing. The goold was delicious but what really set them apart was how they went the extra mile for my parents anniversary dinner. I got my parents a gift card and made reservations, in the reservation saying it wasy parents anniversary celebration, could they give them a quiet table. They did that and so very much more. My mom can't stop talking about how incredible they were, how special she felt, how incredible the food was and how she had 3 wait staff, one in training but she had never felt so special in her life. Her excitement and joy makes me smile and I want everyone to know that Rusty Scupper could have set them in a nice table and said Happy Anniversary, that would have been great service but what they did was make an unforgettable memory for my parents.
