“My son Aaron is on the extreme end of the spectrum and Kiwi is his service dog. This morning, Aaron wanted to go to breakfast which he never asks to do. Sarah Renae and I go to Double T Diner White Marsh for lunch periodically. I called to see how busy they were and if they had booths available. We got a booth in the back (near that giant TV) our waiter was amazing so was the hostess. Aaron does not like going to eat at restaurants because far too often he's made to feel unwelcome because of his service dog. Let me be clear not telling him to leave and making him feel welcome like every other customer are not the same. Today, he was made to feel welcome. Today, his service dog (Kiwi) was made to feel welcome. After we ate breakfast which he had this huge pumpkin Belgium waffle with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, caramel and chocolate syrup with a side a bacon (only 12. 99) I let him pick out a desert for us to take home then he went outside while I paid. He picked the recess cheesecake for himself and the tiramisu for me. One of the hostesses came and asked how things where and if I was the one who had called earlier. I started to tear up as I thanked her and the staff for making Aaron feel welcome and like every other customer. I think it's important to acknowledge when a business not only does the right thing but does the right thing correctly and enthusiastically. So, to the owners, the hostesses, and our waiter (forget his name) thank you from a mom and caretaker this was a big deal for him. Veronica“

“I came for the food and got an entire experience. I had the curry chicken, jerk chicken AND the oxtails, everything was seasoned right and full of flavor. Definitely some real soul food.

But what really made the place stand out is there’s more to it than food. They have karate classes in the basement, plus books, essential oils, herbs and other products in the shop.

A lot of options and sometimes there is this special desert that is this doughnut drizzled with honey(?) which I love, and always have it with the complimentary Nepalese milk tea. One of the Samos Canton employees proactively called me to clarify my confusing order and then told me he would call the location that was closer to us and have them make my order. “I’ll be honest, I was both excited and skeptical about trying Wonder when it first opened. The whole concept seemed a little strange to me, and I wasn’t sure how it would actually work. Since they were offering 50% off for first time customers when I went, I figured it was worth a try.

We ordered a pizza from Alanza, a double cheeseburger from Burger Baby, and a Build Your Own Bowl from El Diez. Funny enough, the burger, which was the item I was least excited about based on how it looked, ended up being my favorite. It was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. The pizza was a little overdone, but I actually like my pizza that way, so no complaints there. The bowl was good too, though I felt like it was missing a little something. Maybe some extra lime or cilantro would have given it more of that fresh Mexican flavor.

I’d definitely come back and try some of the other restaurants they have. I also really liked the atmosphere. It was quiet, clean, and didn’t feel chaotic, which was nice. The kitchen area looked especially clean, which always leaves a good impression.

If you’ve been curious about Wonder and are looking to try something different, I’d say it’s worth checking out, especially while they’re offering 50% off for new customers. There’s a huge variety of food options, so it’s easy for everyone in your group to find something they’ll enjoy. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and left more impressed than I expected to be.“

“This place has really good vegan options including vegan garlic knots, their new oreo dippers (which are SO good), and of course, their pizza. They have a few different proteins including vegan sausage, tofu, and chickpeas and many of their drizzles are vegan too. I like that they have tofu because I don't usually prefer vegan meat on my pizza. I'm pretty picky with vegan pizza but this place is my favorite as of now.
