“We just had the best experience at this restaurant. The staff were very helpful and polite sharing lots of big smiles. We got the lamb chops which I can honestly say are some of the best we’ve had at any restaurant. The chicken in the Tikka Masala was melt in your mouth tender. The restaurant was recommended to us by a friend who grew up in India. He said it’s true to his memories of food from his mother land. Please give this restaurant a try. You won’t be disappointed. The bad reviews all turned out to be BS. I’m sure they have off days and some of the customers were just in a bad mood and they wanted to vent their frustrations out on somebody. It’s a good Chinese carry-out.

“JaeLynn (apologies as I don't know how it is spelled) was a great server who was attentive and quick. Our food came hot and fresh. We had chicken and waffles and the crab hash. Both were way bigger than we anticipated so we only ate about half of each dish. The chicken was tender and tasty (a bit too salty though). The crab hash didn't have much crab in it, but it was tasty. All-in-all, a good place to eat.“

“Ok.....it's pizza. You know what you're in for. I have a person in my family that has celiac so they can't eat gluten. The cauliflower pizza is gluten free. It was no different in taste or texture from a good thin crust pizza. That's pretty impressive. It's not always so easy to include gluten free people in a pizza party. These folks made it easy. “Went for the first time with a coworker for lunch and he suggested the jambalaya, we got there just as they opened so no one else was there besides us. He got the chicken jambalaya and I got the seafood and let me tell you it was AMAZING!! It was way too much for lunch I felt like I needed a nap after eating all that but man it was fantastic. The shrimp mussels and catfish were cooked and seasoned perfectly and the rice delicious I couldn't wait to take the next bite. Will definitely be going back and taking others with me to experience this place. The price is exactly what you should expect for this quality and type of food, it was delicious and the service was fantastic so yeah you pay for that this isn't your local Dennys thank God. “This place was amazing we went 2 days in a row!!!
We were visiting Baltimore for an event and we're exploring some restaurants. For breakfast we chose Miss Shirleys and I can confidently say this is the best food I've had in a while, especially in breakfast category.
We had their chicken breast tenders and sweet waffles, fried green tomatoes, deviled eggs, brisket, and eggs with sausage. Food was amazing !!!!! I highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy delicious food and great atmosphere!!!“

“This is a typical bar with with bar food. No Different than TGI Friday, except a little better. The service is "OK" the servers are untrained as to waiting on tables. The first thing that should be brought to tables is eating utensils and napkins, the water. The tables dont have slat & pepper available for their patrons, you need to ask for it. The menus are not placed in front of customers upside down. (And I even brought it to her attention and she still didn’t correct it) ?? All in all the server was trying very hard to be attentive. The food was not terrible, it's typical bar food, and dont expect anything more. The Boom Boom shrimp are pre breaded frozen shrimp with the tails on and then fried and covered in some type of sauce. My daughter liked the boneless chicken wings with hot sauce. The onion rings I thought were good. I ordered the toasted Italian sub and wasn't offered the option to get tater tots -vs- fries. I didn’t realize this till later and the fries were soggy. I think this is an "OK" spot for someone looking for a bar atmosphere and same for the food & service.“

“My husband and I had a late breakfast at the Timonium location on December 27, 2024. Upon arrival, at almost 11:30 AM, the hostess named Samantha, was seating another group of people. We watched Samantha clean tables, set place settings, before returning and seating us. We soon took note that this very pleasant hostess/greeter was taking on several jobs: we watched her methodically bus tables, return to awaiting guests in line and proceed to repeat the same process...while also being the cashier for departing guests who were paying their bill. As more and more people arrived, we watched Samantha's professionalism never waiver. Our waitress named Kelly was also pleasant. She quickly took our order and soon returned with drinks. Not long later, another kitchen helper returned with our plates of food. I commented on how well everyone was working and gave a special appreciation to Samantha. We observed Samantha rearrange tables to accommodate groups of people while maintaining her warm smile that revealed her love for her job and customers! The food was delicious, and the service was above standard. Employees at this location really work well together but Kudos to Ms. Samantha who worked above and beyond expectations!!!“

But what really made the place stand out is there’s more to it than food. They have karate classes in the basement, plus books, essential oils, herbs and other products in the shop.
