“Real Italian cuisine is served here in ample helpings. Mama's Favorite Caesar salad can be split for two people. It's loaded with soft fresh mozzarella, artichoke, & sundried tomatoes. It's my favorite, too. The lasagna had so much of the wonderful delicate tomato sauce, it was covered. This is the real authentic lasagna of Italy. For a tasty pasta with a kick, the Salmone Al Pesto has a marvelous creamy pesto sauce, & a heaping of small fresh button mushrooms. They say it's only 6 oz. of salmon but the whole plate was covered in large segments of it--it's large enough to take home for a second dinner. Mama had made her own Tiramisu. The delicate sponge soaked with flavor is something not to be missed. Get it when you can. The service from Madison was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable & extremely helpful. This is a wonderful place for authentic Italian meals.“

Juanita recommended so many things to help make my experience so enjoyable. The food was outstanding! She recommended the buffet so that I could try several things I was interested in. “I just have to share the fantastic experience we had tonight. My husband and I went to The Local around 6:30 pm (prime time without reservations lol). The only available seats were a high top table in the bar area. They asked us if that was ok and we said “sure”. Within a minute or so after being seated, it became apparent that our vision of a nice relaxing dinner would be impossible in that room. The Preakness was about to begin, and that bar was loud and hopping! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, I love to see people enjoying themselves. It was a party, but just wasn’t our vibe tonight. We decided we would go elsewhere. We politely informed the hostess that we were going to leave because it was just a tad too noisy, but that we would definitely return again soon. We stressed that we were not mad, or upset. As we were walking to our car, a very nice gentleman followed us out and asked if we would consider returning if they could sit us elsewhere. We said “Of course!” We didn’t think there were any other available tables, but he said they would work something out for us. We told him we didn’t expect them to go out of their way for us and that we could wait. Within five minutes, we were seated at a lovely table in the dining room. We later learned the gentleman that helped us was none other than the owner/ executive chef Zack. We went on to have a delicious dinner with the most attentive and charming server. They demonstrated exemplary customer service, which sadly is lacking in many other establishments. We weren’t expecting any special treatment, but they certainly went above and beyond for us, and it was very much appreciated! When we were leaving, Zack happened to be outside, so he made sure to ask how our experience was. We told him it was amazing, and that his restaurant has been one of our favorites since it opened. We told him we would be back soon. Our experience there tonight is just one of many examples why this restaurant stands out, and why we will always highly recommend them! “First time and the atmosphere was great, little small for volume of patrons. The Hostess, "Crystal" went above and beyond and truly brings the vibe, knows her role, her ability to engage customers, her energy.. The food was and the presentation of the Flight Sampler was cool little birds.. We had Coco Bread(Better than Texas Roadhouse) , Salmond with Rice n peas and coconut cream sauce AND Jerk Chicken Rasta Pasta. Topped off Crystal made me a personalized Mother's Day dessert of warm pound cake with vanilla ice cream and drizzle on top.. She definitely "Loves what she does" It ALL made for a great experience.“

“We haven't been here since it was sold. The place is beautiful! The food was excellent and our waitress, Holly was the bomb diggity!!! We had the CRAB COW BERGER and it was the best burger we ever . Moist beef and the crab cake with crab imperial was divine. The fries were cooked perfect, nice and crunchy but just as soft on the inside. They were NOT coated! Prices were very reasonable. When you get food like this, you don't mind what it costs as long as it is great. Again, ask for Holly to be your waitress. The best server we have had in a long time. Flavors were complimented perfectly with each wine pairing. The scallops entree - NO NOTES!! We will absolutely be coming back! I noted on our reservation that it was our anniversary - not only were we seated with a glass of Prosecco for celebration, but our server Brady went a step further and made our dessert special with a happy anniversary message. “Great Ramen! I forgot my biker leather jacket there about a month or so ago and I had got all the way back to my desk at my job when I realized that I left my jacket at Akira Ramen. I raced back there to get my jacket mostly because my car keys were in my pocket. I was panicking because my car was parked in a pay for the day public garage. I when I arrived the staff returned my jacket to me with my car keys in the pocket. Not only is the Ramen Great, the staff was good enough to hold my jacket for me until I returned. “My son Aaron is on the extreme end of the spectrum and Kiwi is his service dog. This morning, Aaron wanted to go to breakfast which he never asks to do. Sarah Renae and I go to Double T Diner White Marsh for lunch periodically. I called to see how busy they were and if they had booths available. We got a booth in the back (near that giant TV) our waiter was amazing so was the hostess. Aaron does not like going to eat at restaurants because far too often he's made to feel unwelcome because of his service dog. Let me be clear not telling him to leave and making him feel welcome like every other customer are not the same. Today, he was made to feel welcome. Today, his service dog (Kiwi) was made to feel welcome. After we ate breakfast which he had this huge pumpkin Belgium waffle with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, caramel and chocolate syrup with a side a bacon (only 12. 99) I let him pick out a desert for us to take home then he went outside while I paid. He picked the recess cheesecake for himself and the tiramisu for me. One of the hostesses came and asked how things where and if I was the one who had called earlier. I started to tear up as I thanked her and the staff for making Aaron feel welcome and like every other customer. I think it's important to acknowledge when a business not only does the right thing but does the right thing correctly and enthusiastically. So, to the owners, the hostesses, and our waiter (forget his name) thank you from a mom and caretaker this was a big deal for him. Veronica“

“The Power Lunch Specials menu is a bargain at $17.77. The Meatballs & Polenta are excellent. This is 3/4 of the normal lunch menu portion, but is very tasty & extremely filling. The fried calamari is heavy in batter & needs all the lemon juice you can squeeze onto it. The dipping sauces have a lot of hot peppers in them, & are both really spicy. Penne Caprese is fresh & tasty. lovely lunch. Unfortunately, portion sizes vary from day to day. Ask for a full portion. Fettucine Genovese is extremely flavorful. The rich flavor of the cheese enhances the braised beef--a good dish. The coffee had a nice flavor but was watery. It would be much better if they used more coffee.“

“I had an absolutely fantastic experience at honeygrow! The food here is always incredibly fresh, wholesome, and packed with flavor, but what really made this visit stand out was the exceptional service.
A worker named Eli went completely above and beyond to help me out. I was having trouble deciding what to get, and Eli was incredibly patient, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. He walked me through the different stir-fry and salad options, offered some amazing customization recommendations, and made sure everything was prepared exactly to my liking.
It is rare to encounter that level of genuine hospitality and helpfulness these days. Eli is a massive asset to this team! Between the delicious, high-quality food and the top-tier customer service, I will definitely be a regular here.

“Kabob Korner has quickly become my new favorite spot. Back to back days now, and I have to be careful bc it’s THAT good! The lamb kabobs were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor, and the steak kabobs were just as impressive. Both were tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly.

The staff was incredibly friendly and patient as we worked our way through the menu and asked our questions. They greeted us immediately and made us feel welcome right away.

Not one light crab. We will definitely go back again. If you’re looking for great food, excellent service and a very friendly atmosphere, Bird River Inn is your place to go. “I want to preface by saying the food was amazinggg. I’m quite picky but out of the 4 things we picked off the menu, nothing disappointed. Chicken Caesar wrap with fries, a seafood quesadilla, wings, and crab dip. Two appetizers but everything came out at the same time unfortunately.The location is nice for a sunny day and they have a live band on Sundays, we just missed them since they stop playing at 5pm. The service however, was the worst I’ve ever experienced. You can seat yourselves and then a random server will come and greet you to. Seemed that the servers do not have a designated section like most restaurants do. Dallas came to greet us, ask what drinks we want. Told her a marg and my partner wanted a beer. Took her 15 minutes to bring it. By the time she brought it, we already knew what we wanted from the menu. It was not packed, lotsss of empty tables. Told me she couldn’t find the strawberry puree that the drink called for so she used a “discontinued” syrup. Offered to make me a new one if I didn’t like it. Seems nice of her until that was the very last time we saw her for another HOUR. NO I am NOT exaggerating. To no surprise the drink tasted disgusting, couldn’t even finish a sip. After waiting 45 minutes for our food, and a busser bringing it to us. Still no waitress in sight. I now have no drink for my meal and neither does my boyfriend because who needs 45 minutes to finish one beer bottle. We were almost finished eating when she decided to finally join us. I’m not saying she had to babysit us but damn come ask me if we want refills especially since you offered to remake it or ask if our food even came out right. Me and my partner go to restaurants on average twice a week and we have never been so neglected. It’s funny because we would see her talking to other tables and whatnot here and there but she couldn’t be bothered by us. Also the other tables around us had the kindest servers that were actually doing their job & I had to bother them so we could get containers to go. Would go back for the food but definitely asking for anyone but Dallas. Guess she doesn’t care of the service she gives or even showing face to us because of the automatic gratuity added to the bill. I’m not sure about anyone else, but I only get paid if I do my job. And if you get paid to do nothing please let me know so I can quit my job & join you.“

“Today was my first time really trying Korean food. As soon as we walked in we told the woman at the counter that it was our first time and she gave us some great suggestions. We ended up getting beef Bulgogi as well as mandoo. The Bulgogi had such sweet and rich flavor. The kimchi was crunchy and spicy. The woman working who I assume it’s the owner was so happy that we came to try out Korean food. I could tell she is so proud of the establishment. We will 100% be back again And will try some things a little bit more out of our comfort zone. The food was just as amazing as the customer service. 10 out of 10 recommend.“
