“The Power Lunch Specials menu is a bargain at $17.77. The Meatballs & Polenta are excellent. This is 3/4 of the normal lunch menu portion, but is very tasty & extremely filling. The fried calamari is heavy in batter & needs all the lemon juice you can squeeze onto it. The dipping sauces have a lot of hot peppers in them, & are both really spicy. Penne Caprese is fresh & tasty. lovely lunch. Unfortunately, portion sizes vary from day to day. Ask for a full portion. Fettucine Genovese is extremely flavorful. The rich flavor of the cheese enhances the braised beef--a good dish. The coffee had a nice flavor but was watery. It would be much better if they used more coffee.“

“Both the food and the service is consistently amazing! I got the hibachi and shrimp tempura roll last time. It was delicious and very fresh and authentic. I liked it so much that I came back and got the California roll (cucumber, avocado, crab).

Staff are very friendly and portions are big for the money. Atmosphere is really great, even classy compared to other Asian restaurants. Highly recommend!!“

“Love the food. Freshly cooked and not greasy like Lucky Express II or New Chinese Boys. This place use fresh oil and the food is great 😃. Never feel disappointed when eating and enjoying every bite 😋. The shrimp Chow mine is my go to meal. The shrimp is done does not taste mushy and they add the veggies ✨. Also they don't cut you cheap on the shrimp they add a lot, too. The pork fried rice does is not greasy or dry but done right and I love it 😁. 10/10 definitely coming back ❣️ I am greatful to the employees and the customer service everyone friendly and kind.“

“A great place to eat, drink and be with friends“

“I just have to share the fantastic experience we had tonight. My husband and I went to The Local around 6:30 pm (prime time without reservations lol). The only available seats were a high top table in the bar area. They asked us if that was ok and we said “sure”. Within a minute or so after being seated, it became apparent that our vision of a nice relaxing dinner would be impossible in that room. The Preakness was about to begin, and that bar was loud and hopping! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, I love to see people enjoying themselves. It was a party, but just wasn’t our vibe tonight. We decided we would go elsewhere. We politely informed the hostess that we were going to leave because it was just a tad too noisy, but that we would definitely return again soon. We stressed that we were not mad, or upset. As we were walking to our car, a very nice gentleman followed us out and asked if we would consider returning if they could sit us elsewhere. We said “Of course!” We didn’t think there were any other available tables, but he said they would work something out for us. We told him we didn’t expect them to go out of their way for us and that we could wait. Within five minutes, we were seated at a lovely table in the dining room. We later learned the gentleman that helped us was none other than the owner/ executive chef Zack. We went on to have a delicious dinner with the most attentive and charming server. They demonstrated exemplary customer service, which sadly is lacking in many other establishments. We weren’t expecting any special treatment, but they certainly went above and beyond for us, and it was very much appreciated! When we were leaving, Zack happened to be outside, so he made sure to ask how our experience was. We told him it was amazing, and that his restaurant has been one of our favorites since it opened. We told him we would be back soon. Our experience there tonight is just one of many examples why this restaurant stands out, and why we will always highly recommend them! “We haven't been here since it was sold. The place is beautiful! The food was excellent and our waitress, Holly was the bomb diggity!!! We had the CRAB COW BERGER and it was the best burger we ever . Moist beef and the crab cake with crab imperial was divine. The fries were cooked perfect, nice and crunchy but just as soft on the inside. They were NOT coated! Prices were very reasonable. When you get food like this, you don't mind what it costs as long as it is great. Again, ask for Holly to be your waitress. The best server we have had in a long time. Professional but down to earth and she was on top of everything. We went to celebrate our birthday's. Holly even sang when she brought our cake out! What a FANTASTIK time we had. “We literally just left and I could not recommend this place enough. I'm pregnant and had a craving for Asian food. We live in PA, so we literally drove almost an hour to get here and I am so glad we did! We got the beef ramen, crispy chicken rice dish with curry sauce, fried chicken & spicy mayo appetizer, a beef rice dish. I was very impressed with the food and the staff and atmosphere was great too. I was so full and so happy. My kids loved the food too and actually ate which if you have kids, you know they usually don't eat. All in all, I recommend this place 100%.“

“Was very impressed. The Chesapeake Benedict was awesome. The Bloody Mary was on point and also the mimosa. Kristen (can’t remember the spelling) was the bartender and amazing and very attentive. 5 star experience. What also impressed me was they had a special part on their check that had a separate 2% specially going towards their cooking staff which I happily did. I just thought that was cool. “Kabob Korner has quickly become my new favorite spot. Back to back days now, and I have to be careful bc it’s THAT good! The lamb kabobs were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor, and the steak kabobs were just as impressive. Both were tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly.

The staff was incredibly friendly and patient as we worked our way through the menu and asked our questions. They greeted us immediately and made us feel welcome right away.

It's my favorite, too. The lasagna had so much of the wonderful delicate tomato sauce, it was covered. This is the real authentic lasagna of Italy. For a tasty pasta with a kick, the Salmone Al Pesto has a marvelous creamy pesto sauce, & a heaping of small fresh button mushrooms. They say it's only 6 oz. of salmon but the whole plate was covered in large segments of it--it's large enough to take home for a second dinner. Mama had made her own Tiramisu. The delicate sponge soaked with flavor is something not to be missed. Get it when you can. The service from Madison was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable & extremely helpful. This is a wonderful place for authentic Italian meals.“

“Thursday evening was my first time there. We made a reservation and were seated right away. We were there for steamed crabs. Our server immediately put our order in and brought our drinks. Our crabs came out pretty quickly. I can’t say enough about the two ladies that were serving us. They were very attentive but not to the extreme. Both were very friendly. Our crabs were excellent! “Had brunch there this morning and it was super yummy. The only complaint is that the bar chairs are not comfortable. I was in jeans and I was constantly sliding forward. I used my feet to push me back on and hold me there; I shouldn’t have to engage my muscles to sit in a bar chair. Other than that, it was great. Good food, good service, and good bartenders.“
