The restaurant feels very comforting and inviting, with wonderful employees greeting you right away. definetly recommend for the food but also the atmosphere and wonderful employee demeanor. 5 stars. p.s. the bbq chicken pizza is amazing, big chunks of chicken and wonderfully crafted.“

“The Power Lunch Specials menu is a bargain at $17.77. The Meatballs & Polenta are excellent. This is 3/4 of the normal lunch menu portion, but is very tasty & extremely filling. The fried calamari is heavy in batter & needs all the lemon juice you can squeeze onto it. The dipping sauces have a lot of hot peppers in them, & are both really spicy. Penne Caprese is fresh & tasty. lovely lunch. Unfortunately, portion sizes vary from day to day. Ask for a full portion. Fettucine Genovese is extremely flavorful. The rich flavor of the cheese enhances the braised beef--a good dish. The coffee had a nice flavor but was watery. It would be much better if they used more coffee.“

“My son for the 1st time ordered crabs from Jax’s and they were the most delicious crabs we’ve eaten . We will most definitely return to buy more! The taste was next to none!! Whatever you’re doing please do-not EVER change.“

“The stuff was pretty good. I just wish that the green tea ice cream tasted more like green tea. It was like poorly hidden vanilla ice cream. Still pretty good though. “Love the food. Freshly cooked and not greasy like Lucky Express II or New Chinese Boys. This place use fresh oil and the food is great 😃. Never feel disappointed when eating and enjoying every bite 😋. The shrimp Chow mine is my go to meal. The shrimp is done does not taste mushy and they add the veggies ✨. Also they don't cut you cheap on the shrimp they add a lot, too. The pork fried rice does is not greasy or dry but done right and I love it 😁. 10/10 definitely coming back ❣️ I am greatful to the employees and the customer service everyone friendly and kind.“

Juanita recommended so many things to help make my experience so enjoyable. The food was outstanding! She recommended the buffet so that I could try several things I was interested in. “A great place to eat, drink and be with friends“

“I just have to share the fantastic experience we had tonight. My husband and I went to The Local around 6:30 pm (prime time without reservations lol). The only available seats were a high top table in the bar area. They asked us if that was ok and we said “sure”. Within a minute or so after being seated, it became apparent that our vision of a nice relaxing dinner would be impossible in that room. The Preakness was about to begin, and that bar was loud and hopping! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, I love to see people enjoying themselves. It was a party, but just wasn’t our vibe tonight. We decided we would go elsewhere. We politely informed the hostess that we were going to leave because it was just a tad too noisy, but that we would definitely return again soon. We stressed that we were not mad, or upset. As we were walking to our car, a very nice gentleman followed us out and asked if we would consider returning if they could sit us elsewhere. We said “Of course!” We didn’t think there were any other available tables, but he said they would work something out for us. We told him we didn’t expect them to go out of their way for us and that we could wait. Within five minutes, we were seated at a lovely table in the dining room. We later learned the gentleman that helped us was none other than the owner/ executive chef Zack. We went on to have a delicious dinner with the most attentive and charming server. They demonstrated exemplary customer service, which sadly is lacking in many other establishments. We weren’t expecting any special treatment, but they certainly went above and beyond for us, and it was very much appreciated! When we were leaving, Zack happened to be outside, so he made sure to ask how our experience was. We told him it was amazing, and that his restaurant has been one of our favorites since it opened. We told him we would be back soon. Our experience there tonight is just one of many examples why this restaurant stands out, and why we will always highly recommend them! “I’ve been coming to Naz’s for a while and it’s usually the only place open after I get off work. The workers are always super nice and the food is definitely worth every penny. It’s very accommodative and you can adjust things just how you like it, plus the fact it’s ethical is a major major plus. I’ll definitely be loyal to Naz’s for a very very long time.“

“We haven't been here since it was sold. The place is beautiful! The food was excellent and our waitress, Holly was the bomb diggity!!! We had the CRAB COW BERGER and it was the best burger we ever . Moist beef and the crab cake with crab imperial was divine. The fries were cooked perfect, nice and crunchy but just as soft on the inside. They were NOT coated! Prices were very reasonable. When you get food like this, you don't mind what it costs as long as it is great. Again, ask for Holly to be your waitress. The best server we have had in a long time. Professional but down to earth and she was on top of everything. We went to celebrate our birthday's. Holly even sang when she brought our cake out! What a FANTASTIK time we had. “Great Ramen! I forgot my biker leather jacket there about a month or so ago and I had got all the way back to my desk at my job when I realized that I left my jacket at Akira Ramen. I raced back there to get my jacket mostly because my car keys were in my pocket. I was panicking because my car was parked in a pay for the day public garage. I when I arrived the staff returned my jacket to me with my car keys in the pocket. Not only is the Ramen Great, the staff was good enough to hold my jacket for me until I returned. Thank you very much for the experience, I will return soon.“

“10/10!! The food was absolutely incredible - me and my husband each did a prix fixe dinner pairing with wine and were 100% satisfied with our food selections and the wines. Flavors were complimented perfectly with each wine pairing. The scallops entree - NO NOTES!! We will absolutely be coming back! I noted on our reservation that it was our anniversary - not only were we seated with a glass of Prosecco for celebration, but our server Brady went a step further and made our dessert special with a happy anniversary message. A worker named Eli went completely above and beyond to help me out. I was having trouble deciding what to get, and Eli was incredibly patient, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. He walked me through the different stir-fry and salad options, offered some amazing customization recommendations, and made sure everything was prepared exactly to my liking.
It is rare to encounter that level of genuine hospitality and helpfulness these days. Eli is a massive asset to this team! Between the delicious, high-quality food and the top-tier customer service, I will definitely be a regular here.

“Kabob Korner has quickly become my new favorite spot. Back to back days now, and I have to be careful bc it’s THAT good! The lamb kabobs were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor, and the steak kabobs were just as impressive. Both were tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly.

The staff was incredibly friendly and patient as we worked our way through the menu and asked our questions. They greeted us immediately and made us feel welcome right away.

It's my favorite, too. The lasagna had so much of the wonderful delicate tomato sauce, it was covered. This is the real authentic lasagna of Italy. For a tasty pasta with a kick, the Salmone Al Pesto has a marvelous creamy pesto sauce, & a heaping of small fresh button mushrooms. They say it's only 6 oz. of salmon but the whole plate was covered in large segments of it--it's large enough to take home for a second dinner. Mama had made her own Tiramisu. The delicate sponge soaked with flavor is something not to be missed. Get it when you can. The service from Madison was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable & extremely helpful. This is a wonderful place for authentic Italian meals.“

“Had brunch there this morning and it was super yummy. The only complaint is that the bar chairs are not comfortable. I was in jeans and I was constantly sliding forward. I used my feet to push me back on and hold me there; I shouldn’t have to engage my muscles to sit in a bar chair. Other than that, it was great. Good food, good service, and good bartenders.“
