“My son Aaron is on the extreme end of the spectrum and Kiwi is his service dog. This morning, Aaron wanted to go to breakfast which he never asks to do. Sarah Renae and I go to Double T Diner White Marsh for lunch periodically. I called to see how busy they were and if they had booths available. We got a booth in the back (near that giant TV) our waiter was amazing so was the hostess. Aaron does not like going to eat at restaurants because far too often he's made to feel unwelcome because of his service dog. Let me be clear not telling him to leave and making him feel welcome like every other customer are not the same. Today, he was made to feel welcome. Today, his service dog (Kiwi) was made to feel welcome. After we ate breakfast which he had this huge pumpkin Belgium waffle with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, caramel and chocolate syrup with a side a bacon (only 12. 99) I let him pick out a desert for us to take home then he went outside while I paid. He picked the recess cheesecake for himself and the tiramisu for me. One of the hostesses came and asked how things where and if I was the one who had called earlier. I started to tear up as I thanked her and the staff for making Aaron feel welcome and like every other customer. I think it's important to acknowledge when a business not only does the right thing but does the right thing correctly and enthusiastically. “Had found the place by accident roaming around the night before and ordered a chicken sandwich that was AWESOME! So decided on it for the pizza, highly recommend, the following night while roaming again. Started speaking with a older woman behind the bar who is part owner and she was so delightful and informativ of the area of Little Italy and told me of some of the history associated with the area. Such a great experience for an out of stater to have.“

“I just have to share the fantastic experience we had tonight. My husband and I went to The Local around 6:30 pm (prime time without reservations lol). The only available seats were a high top table in the bar area. They asked us if that was ok and we said “sure”. Within a minute or so after being seated, it became apparent that our vision of a nice relaxing dinner would be impossible in that room. The Preakness was about to begin, and that bar was loud and hopping! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, I love to see people enjoying themselves. It was a party, but just wasn’t our vibe tonight. We decided we would go elsewhere. We politely informed the hostess that we were going to leave because it was just a tad too noisy, but that we would definitely return again soon. We stressed that we were not mad, or upset. As we were walking to our car, a very nice gentleman followed us out and asked if we would consider returning if they could sit us elsewhere. We said “Of course!” We didn’t think there were any other available tables, but he said they would work something out for us. We told him we didn’t expect them to go out of their way for us and that we could wait. Within five minutes, we were seated at a lovely table in the dining room. We later learned the gentleman that helped us was none other than the owner/ executive chef Zack. We went on to have a delicious dinner with the most attentive and charming server. They demonstrated exemplary customer service, which sadly is lacking in many other establishments. We weren’t expecting any special treatment, but they certainly went above and beyond for us, and it was very much appreciated! When we were leaving, Zack happened to be outside, so he made sure to ask how our experience was. We told him it was amazing, and that his restaurant has been one of our favorites since it opened. We told him we would be back soon. Our experience there tonight is just one of many examples why this restaurant stands out, and why we will always highly recommend them! Thank you all so much for proving customer service is not a dying art!“

“My family and I happened up on this cool little place while on vacation and in Baltimore for one day. Loved the atmosphere and the fact that it’s a local place and not a chain that I can get at home in Louisiana. Pizza and wings were great and staff was friendly and attentive.“

“Definitely a 10/10 spot went there around 7:30 for dinner !! Food was awesome and in good prices I got a crab cake for 18$ with a 2 dollar add on for fries and coleslaw. Recommend getting there early just because wait times are crazy. Service was awesome I was there 5/21 and sitting on the first floor outside the server was amazing but sadly I can’t remember the young girls name she was tall and skinny. “I was at a birthday catered by Benny’s. The meatballs were outstanding, tender, moist, excellent flavor and the sauce was excellent also! Deep flavors, not strong, with a good texture, without that strong acid, garlicky tomato flavor! Baked pasta was great also! It was good for my tummy also, no reflux, YUMMY 🤗. “I love the mamas on the half shell in Owings Mills. The food is great and I am a frequent diner. I love Mary, Alaina, and Gavin the best. They are so courteous and customer service orientated. “I hosted a surprise 30th birthday for my husband at HYC last night. Everyone I dealt with from the moment I reached out to inquire about hosting an event there up until the end of the event last night were fantastic. I ordered food from the catering menu and everyone in attendance commented on how great the food was. Our bartender and server were great as well and I was checked on several times to make sure that everything was going well. We had a great time with great food and drinks and I would highly recommend hosting an event here!“

Yet, the quality of the food, the taste and spice was so good.
Had the egg white noodles 🍜 with mushrooms, spiced Breadcrumbs, spicy garlic sauce and parsley. Was so flavorful. Good quantity.

This is a family run business in the heart of Baltimore social life, between Inner Harbor, Harbor East and Fells Point (more to Fells Point side). It is our favorite Indian restaurant in Baltimore by far. My husband and I really enjoy their lunch buffets, they service freshly made food and have a variety of options. The lunch buffet has Indian salads, sometimes vegetable samosas, at least a few different meat entrees, at least a few different vegetable entrees, dessert, and always hot chai tea with sugar options. My husband and I enjoy going to not only eat the food, but also appreciate how friendly and hospitable Amir and his family are. They also have respectful staff, and run a very peaceful operation. We appreciate every visit, and when we leave, we feel like we have gained 5 pounds each (in a good way!). Looking forward to our next visit :) Thank you Mr. Amir and family!“

“My first time in Baltimore and Jimmy's was my first stop. Carl, the manager was outstanding. He told me about the restaurant, it's history and the many stars that have eaten there. The 2 waitresses that looked after me were friendly, helpful, and fun to chat with. Great place to eat, amazing food, a fun place. I'll definitely go to a Jimmy's again next time I'm in Baltimore!“

“My friend and I have been trying Pubs and eateries in the Baltimore area and this one popped up on Trip Advisor. We decided to give it a try and we are glad we did. This is a friendly neighborhood Pub and Grill that screams good food & service. The lady running the grill should be named a grill master with everything she makes. The burgers are at least ¾ of a pound of quality beef and made exactly the way you ask and the fries are freshly cut and prepared. I also had the Jerk Chicken strips, which were delicious (Not the quantity I expected for $12.00) but very good. I saw the wings come out for someone else and they looked good too. The young lady making drinks was exceptional with her knowledge of mixology. I am going to make it a point to bring my neighbor and her boyfriend here next time. I live on the North side of Baltimore city, but this is worth the drive.“

“Silver Queen Cafe continues to be a local gem. After our original dinner plans fell through this past Saturday, we were able to snag a last-minute 7:45 PM reservation, and it turned out to be a fantastic evening.
​We’ve visited before and always appreciate the cozy atmosphere and their commitment to fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Even though they were sold out of a few popular items we had our hearts set on—the fried oyster tacos and the black bean burgers—the experience was still top-notch. Our server, Jamie, was incredibly helpful in guiding us toward new choices, and we ended up thoroughly enjoying the mushroom blue pizza and the seafood nachos.
​What really stood out was the level of service. Not only was Jamie attentive, but the bartender also made a point to come by our table to check on us, which was a great personal touch. It’s clear the staff here genuinely cares about the guest experience.

“This is my favorite place to go in Baltimore. Aside from my house. I don't know what to point out as the deciding factor, but it just feels comfortable to me. The food is good, not great — I absolutely love the French Dip Cheesesteak. The wait staff and bartenders are always beyond friendly. We've done trivia nights and game days and quiet nights. My wife absolutely loves the dirty martini. Her favorite in the city. And it's a short walk from my home. I hope it's here for another 100 years.“

I tried the Honey Bourbon Lemonade from the April specials; it was a 10/10 with the perfect balance of sweetness and dark liquor warmth. We shared the Nacho Tots (solid seasonal treat!), but the real star was the Chicken Chesapeake sandwich. It was a big, cheesy, melty pile of chicken and crab on a toasted, buttery bun. It’s a fantastic, more affordable way to get a crab fix—and honestly, I liked it more than many actual crab cakes I’ve had. We finished with the Bread Pudding, which was warm, gooey, and decadent.
