“We had early dinner today and it was fantastic. The crab cakes are definitely the largest we have seen. Absolutely 8 oz. Each of us ordered the double platter and could only eat 1/2 of 1. We now have multiple meals (may have to freeze one). The tossed salad was excellent and the fries were just what my husband ordered - extra crispy. Mary was our waitress and she was so personable, quick to serve us, always had a smile on her face. She was attentive and went out of her way to please. Will we be back - absolutely even though it is a 45 minute drive!”

“The atmosphere when you come in is akin to an old style Italian eatery. The restaurant feels very comforting and inviting, with wonderful employees greeting you right away. definetly recommend for the food but also the atmosphere and wonderful employee demeanor. 5 stars. p.s. the bbq chicken pizza is amazing, big chunks of chicken and wonderfully crafted.”

“The Power Lunch Specials menu is a bargain at $17.77. The Meatballs & Polenta are excellent. This is 3/4 of the normal lunch menu portion, but is very tasty & extremely filling. The fried calamari is heavy in batter & needs all the lemon juice you can squeeze onto it. The dipping sauces have a lot of hot peppers in them, & are both really spicy. Penne Caprese is fresh & tasty. lovely lunch. Unfortunately, portion sizes vary from day to day. Ask for a full portion. Fettucine Genovese is extremely flavorful. The rich flavor of the cheese enhances the braised beef--a good dish. The coffee had a nice flavor but was watery. It would be much better if they used more coffee.”

“Our food was excellent and service was outstanding. Dawn was our waitress, It has been a long time since we had a waitress that earned her tip. Dawn took our order, served our order, check on us several times while dining, and finally gave us our check. Most waitress now take your order and give you your check and want a 20% tip.”

“Drive thru coffee spot. They usually have a long line but they move pretty quickly. The staff are friendly and they try to create an atmosphere but it's also a drive thru. The coffee isn't bad but it doesn't have a bold body to the espresso, it's more about the flavoring I feel. No food.”

“Here at Szechaun Express, at Box Hill, you will be knocked off of your feet by the amazing food options, and the amazing care that goes into your food! Not to mention, the service, and atmosphere is mentionable to note!
For starters, the food options. You can tell just looking at the menu that they will have something to fit your fancy any day of the week. The food is also cooked amazing, and packaged to stay warm.
Secondly, the service. They give you your food with a smile on their face always, and make sure it is packaged amazingly. You can tell that they care you stopped at Szechaun Express out of all the other Chinese Food options near.
Third, the atmosphere. Here, it is always nice to meet other people waiting for their food, and to greet the people behind the register! The atmosphere may not be the best, but is still amazingly good.
In conclusion, the food options, and how they cook your food, the service, the packaging, the atmopshere, basically a lot of aspects are amazing here at Szechaun Express, Box Hill, MD. Highly would recommend!”
