5 Best Bar & Grill near Mount Airy

“Our lunch at the Memories Charcoal House was enjoyable especially given the excellent service we received. We ate in the dining room next to the larger bar area. The dining room's appearance would benefit from some updating. We had the Chicken Gyro with Fries ($15.90). The portion size was generous and Gyro was very good. We also had the Boom Boom Bowl ($18.90). It was good tasting; however, the portion size was underwhelming including the size of the shrimp.“

“My wife and myself are on vacation from Scotland and touring DC, Maryland, Rhode Island, Cape Cod etc….. Last night (Wednesday) we stumbled across The Morgan Inn. I can honestly say that it is one of the nicest welcoming bars I have ever been in my life and I don’t say that lightly as I travel regular. The food is fantastic and the bar staff, chefs and customers were simply fabulous. There are too many people to mention and say thanks to as each person was as nice , welcoming and friendly as the next one. We arrived as total strangers and left feeling as if we had been customers and friends for years. We will most certainly be back. If you are in the area of The Morgan Inn don’t miss out. “First time here off of the reviews I read. They were right. Awesome food and the crab cakes were amazing. Kelly was amazing and even thought she was the only waitress in the sunroom area she worked so hard and never made you feel rushed. Excellent service. Kudos Kelly!!! We are only visiting, but recommended Kelly and the Winfield Inn to family and friends.“
