Even though the website says folks under 21 are welcome with someone 21+, there is annoying “fine print” that is hard to find on the website. The result was driving over an hour with my 18 year old and 2 dogs. We were turned away after going there for years together.
Bark Social Bethesda is my Happy Place. The atmosphere is relaxed and joyous. In the morning wake up with a custom coffee or celebrate throughout the day with great craft beers on tap, frozen creations in the summer or something spicy and warm in the cooler months. New items are added to the Cafe menu all the time. Best of all bring along your 4 legged best buddy (or come by yourself) because there are plenty of pets to go around, as dogs frolic. With a large outdoor dining space, picnic tables, and gender-neutral restrooms, this establishment caters to both humans and their canine companions. The staff are super considerate and friendly people, attentive and knowledgeable about dog behavior, ensuring a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Visitors can indulge in a variety of beers, coffee, and snacks, such as sandwiches, while their dogs run and play. The place is huge, and has tons of room for running, and plenty of seating options. In the summer, the establishment even provides water tubs and hoses for dogs to cool off. While the food may not be the main draw, and portions can be small ish, the overall experience at Bark Social is unbeatable for dog lovers, with presentation and size being impressive.
