“I saw the pits smoking away in the parking lot and knew I found something good! Awesome BBQ, had the brisket sandwich and it was the best brisket I've ever had and I've tried a lot! I also smoke my own meats at home and this puts mine to shame. Wife had the grilled chicken and said it was delicious, nice char on the outside and juicy on the inside. Oakland is a very small town and this place is a gem! Highly recommend.“
“Perfect spot for a nice casual dinner. We own a vacation home in Terra Alta, WV and like to check out new restaurants for dinners. We really enjoyed our meal here, delicious food, perfect portion sizes so that you can finish your meal, feel full, and not have a bunch of leftovers to throw away. Our server was great, food came out quick, restaurant was nice and clean, live music was setting up, and we got a table right away. It was a nice spot to find in Oakland so we didn’t have to drive all the way into Deep Creek. “Stopped in on our trip to WV for lunch. Best bbq we have had in a long time! Pulled pork was tender and full of flavor, brisket was melt in your mouth good and the sides were all delicious as well. Great food, great atmosphere! Will be a regular stop for future visits!“
