Angler Restaurant & Bar Reviews
Today was not a good day to go out! Way to choppy! We only went because we prepaid and couldn't get a refund. very few boats were even on the water. The mates were very nice, but deeply unsatisfied with this trip!! Hardly anyone got fish. Spent more time fixing anchor than anything!! Out of 3 hours, we may of gotten 45-60 minutes to fish. Way,Way to choppy out there!! We got sick for the first time ever on a fishing boat! I've been on 7 different boat trips, never this bad!...read full review
Absolutely amazing! I sent my 2 sons who are 16!! They had a blast! The crew was so helpful and kept checking on my boys! Captain Chris was so nice and kind! The 2 Mates Philomena and Steve were great and kept making sure the boys were ok and kept helping them as needed! They will definitely go again!!!!! Such a great experience for them!!!
Great Captain and crew ! I rarely ever fish on another headboat in Ocean City, Md. and I fish often !

Angler Restaurant & Bar is a welcoming and charming dining spot located by the water, offering a relaxing atmosphere with wonderful seating by the bay. The restaurant has recently undergone a complete remodel, making it bigger and better, while still maintaining a quaint, old-school Ocean City vibe. Visitors often praise the friendly and attentive service; many mention servers who go above and beyond, creating a positive and enjoyable experience. The food is generally great, with highlights like the frozen Pina Coladas and fresh oysters on the half shell. Some guests find the food to be average or in need of more care in presentation, such as salads that require cutting or dishes like the Crabby Dip, which some find lacking in crab content. The location is perfect for water views, adding to the relaxing feel. However, the restaurant can be quite loud, making conversations difficult at times. Some guests note the absence of gluten-free options for burgers and occasional slow service. Despite these minor issues, many visitors are eager to return, attracted by the friendly atmosphere, good food, and the chance to enjoy the water views. Overall, Angler Restaurant & Bar is a delightful place that offers a memorable dining experience with friendly staff and a lovely setting.
