“After trying a couple of other sushi restaurants that locals recommended, I had given up on finding an “okay” sushi restaurant in Ocean City. Another couple from the city recommended Sushi Cafe, so I knew I had to give it a try, and I’m elated with joy that I did!I went the second day of reopening for the 2024 season, right at 5pm, and I’m thankful they were able to seat me. This place is small, like smaller than small. There’s a handful of tables, with roughly 10 seats at the sushi bar. The server and staff were attentive and gave me time to look at the menu, which is impressive for multiple reasons. The specialty rolls are creative, and they are significantly cheaper than the other local sushi restaurants. I ordered the Torpedo and Yeti Roll. Both were flavorful and I love that the pieces are bite size, as sushi should be! The fish was fresh and devout of the “fishy” smell.Sushi Cafe is beyond just “okay”. They are phenomenal and even rival one of my favorite places in DC. Their menu is small and straight to the point. The chefs work efficiently and streamline their processes to get food to the customers, with minimal wait time. I will definitely be returning to Sushi Cafe on a weekly basis.“
“We got hooked on this place when we bought our vacation home in West OC and were doing renovations...we got Uber Eats to deliver from here repeatedly while working on our house and everything was to die for. We finally decided to go check the place out and dine in, and what a surprise! I wouldn't say Chinese restaurants are typically beautiful but this one is! Very clean with tasteful decor, their staff is always so kind and helpful. Everything we've ever gotten here is amazing. The plates look like a work of art when delivered to your table, the extra touches are sweet! Highly recommended visiting here, definitely dine in for the lovely atmosphere.“
“We dined at Nori's Sushi Place on New Year's Eve and had an amazing meal. The sushi rolls and sashimi were incredibly fresh and expertly made. We tried the spicy tuna, salmon avocado and specialty maki rolls - so many wonderful flavors! In addition to the excellent sushi, the service really impressed us. Despite the busy holiday night, our server was attentive, prompt and happy to offer recommendations.Nori's brought together delicious fresh sushi, a lively atmosphere and stellar service for a fantastic New Year's Eve dinner. We highly recommend it for sushi lovers looking for a great dining experience. We'll definitely be back soon!“
“we went last night during the festival and staff was very friendly and had the food out in a jiffy. Was told the matcha latte was semi sweet but found it too sweet for my liking. Chicken fried rice was banging, egg rolls were good, but the beef ramen was a bit too chewy. they were about to close when we came but happily took our order and allowed us to sit outside on their sweet little patio.“
“Finally a boba place in Ocean City? And it's good?! I was pretty surprised that the menu here was so extensive, from selling not only bubble tea, but also rolled ice cream and sushi! Even bingsoo! My group was in town for a small vacation and we all love checking out local bubble tea spots, so we decided to stop by. We ordered the Unicorn Fart drink with lychee jelly and bubbles from their Special Teas menu and the Matcha King rolled ice cream. Both items were great! I wasn't expecting much because it's Ocean City, but was pleasantly surprised that it was pretty good quality! The person who took our order and also served it was most likely the owner's son who was a kid so it made the experience pretty amusing when we heard him yell, "UNICORN FART!" pretty aggressively with a straight face too lmao! Plenty of parking up front as this place is in a shopping center which includes Food Lion and others.“
“Good sushi and appetizers!Must try : Chip roll. The gyoza and the shumai are very good too.Recommend : Kevin Poole, it's rare to find a roll with lump crab meat. Bad gems (with banana) is must try.Enjoyed: costal roll and G money. Very good edamame. Can skip : tuna & avocsdo salad. A generous spread of tuna and avocados but the flavors just didn't come together for me.“
“It’s an hibachi food place, now you get an appetizer with your meal here which is the first time I’ve been to a place that does this but overall it’s a hibachi place where they cook in front of you and the food is freshly made so it’s always better that wayWheelchair accessibility: Yes this place is very spacious for wheel chair access“
“Try one of their bulgogi dishes, they're amazing. You seem to get more food if you dine in. We carry out a lot but when we have the opportunity we love to dine in. Our last dine-in experience we tried the avocado salad and it was amazing. They didn't skimp on the avocado, the whole salad was covered in perfectly ripe and sliced avocado. They also have good sushi.I highly recommend this restaurant“
“Excellent service. Have been eating their food for years via their call ahead takeout service, but eating in their restaurant it tasted "better"?You must try their fried banana desert, it was the true definition of pure decadence!Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of tables and booths even in the late dinner hour. Kid friendly.“
“Yanni and his team make some of the best sushi and fresh fish. Their attention to detail and customer service exceeds my expectations. Relaxed and energetic vibes from the sushi bar with unique cocktails and tasty sushi. Will be back next time. Strip steak was amazing.“
“Delicious! We had a wonderful meal and very accommodating for little kids with stickers, kids chopsticks and even French fries. The sushi rolls were well made and very fresh. Chinese/thai dishes looked amazing, but we did not try. A great fresh, calm option in OC.“
