“Great food. Generous portions. Super polite and attentive staff. Very small, quaint atmosphere, like you were at a friends place for dinner. Hunan sauce is fantastic. Sesame chicken was very good. Egg drop and wonton soup were also top notch. We had no expectations going in and were pleasantly surprised.“

“What can I say about this place. It’s truly a hidden gem in Bowie. I have never been a fan of ramen until Sakura popped up. The prices are so affordable for the excellent quality food you’re getting. The portions are great! The free miso soup is great. The Chicken Karaage is the most tender nuggets of fried chicken I’ve ever had in my life. My BF and I had the Volcano Ramen and the Miso Ramen which were so filling and flavorful. The owner came out and talked to us about his 8+hr broth process and you can definitely taste it. He was so passionate about his food. We love it here and will be here on the regular. Best ramen in Maryland!“

“Order two rolls of sushi here and it was more than enough to fill you up! They also gave us an order of fried imitation crab for free. Your meal comes with miso soup in at the beginning of your meal and a small slice of cheesecake at the end of your meal. Their menu is huge so I’m sure you’ll find a roll of sushi that you like!“

Parking: The store is located in the Bowie Town Center so there is plenty of parking in the rear (parking lot) with limited spaces in the front of the stores.“

“This place is fantastic! The food is great and the selection for the all you can eat is amazing. It isn't a fancy dining experience but it is cozy. The staff are good they clear dishes as you go and have given extra order sheets as you go. The food is made fresh to order and not just sitting for you to grab which is fantastic.“

“I really enjoyed this restaurant. The people were super nice. The service was outstanding. They have excellent sushi 🍣. Also, I enjoyed trying 1 of their sake. I appreciated how knowledgeable they were about the different ones they offered. I definitely be back to this wonderful restaurant again.
Parking: There's plenty of it. The restaurant is 1 of 3 in a strip center located right off Route 1/Washington Boulevard.“

“I am a huge fan of Otani, but I was looking for something a bit more affordable in the area. I would say the sushi here is equally as good in comparison!
The Bento boxes may be a matter of taste. I didn’t care for the beef or fried rice I ordered, but my husband liked both, in addition to the salmon and noodles he ordered. We will definitely be back for sushi in the future.“

“The food is tasty and they are pretty quick with their service. They now have a self ordering kiosk which we haven't used but plan to next time. I only gave the atmosphere 3 stars because it's not much for atmosphere. They have a few tables to sit and eat but I never used them. Mostly sit and wait. Overall they give you a decent amount of food. If you have a lot of orders they give you a box to carry your stuff out. But that was recent due to the plastic bag ban.“

“This is my husband and I’s second time trying out this place and it is delicious! I ordered the chicken bento box and that teriyaki sauce with the rice and crispy chicken is just the perfect combo along with everything else that comes in the box. My husband loves the volcano roll as well!“

“Great value and great taste! worth driving to.This is a no-frills place that doesn’t mandate tips or surcharges and will give you good size tasty food.We got two specialty sushi rolls and chicken&beef+ vegetables and noodles.I was hesitant to get the sushi here because everyone says to get sushi from fancy places only, but I gave it a shot. I just finished it. It tasted good. If I don’t get sick, this will be my go-to for Japanese takeout. If I don’t come back to add more info, it means all went well and i fel fine :)“
