“This event space needs an upgrade of routine attendance/maintenance for the restrooms - definitely the women's lacking hand soap: there is none within the built-in dispensers. This has been the case EVERY time I've attended an event at this venue.“

“Old Blue catered my daughters wedding. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. Old Blue has the best BBQ food in the greater DC area - so, that would be enough to recommend them - however, if you are planning an event, you will not believe the quality of the service they offer. Everyone was helpful, had great suggestions, they even shared decorations with us. The day of the wedding was also perfect - they were attentive and seemed to anticipate every need. Again, they would be worth it just for the food, but they perfect because of everything else.“

All the food was so tasty.
All the tables were so beautiful with the white and gold, linen table cloth napkins, plates and silverware. The au d’oeuvres were great. We can’t forget the bartender very professional.All the servers were very nice, dressed professional.
Very things was done in order and decent.

“We visited DC this weekend from NC. I went to DC Vegan with my non-vegan husband. Two days later he's still raving about the chick'n cutlet club. He said it was the best "chicken" sandwich he ever had and I can't convince him it was actually vegan 😆 Well done friends 👏👏 I had the artichoke bowl which was fantastic and the cheesecake is to die for! Wish we could have stayed in DC longer as I would have loved to try the other menu items.“

“We love Washington DC so my wife and I wanted some pizza. We were staying at the Embassy suites in NW so I googled pizza that was close by. Pizzoli‘s pizzeria came up. It looked good so we took an Uber there and the pizza was excellent. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and my wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed it. Made from scratch good. We were a little bit surprised in that it was a smaller establishment as we thought we were going to a place that had lots of tables, etc. This place has one inside table and five or six countertops to eat at and then they have several tables outside but as noted, the food was fantastic. Would certainly recommended, and we will be back home future visits.“

“The food was so good! I ordered the crab cake sandwich (special for the day), with Mac & cheese and potato salad. I also ordered the sweet potato pie egg rolls with henny cream sauce. First, the crab cake sandwich was huge and meaty. It was very good and I’d go back off that alone. Everything else was very good as well. The sweet potatoes pie egg rolls were amazing and I don’t even generally like sweet potatoes, but it sounded so good and it didn’t disappoint. I also met Derrick and Shae while I was there and they were very kind. I’ll be back! I wish I had photos, but I ate the food too fast.“

“Shout out to Big Moe's Catering!! They catered our work luncheon, with all of the Covid protocols that made it much easier for us. Each staff member had individual meals with a dessert. The turkey wings, fried chicken, salmon, pork chops, masked potato's, greens, string beans, and mac n cheese were delicious. Every one had an empty container. The food was delivered on time and the communication was excellent. I would order from them again.“

“Warning: once you go Phoxotic, you’re never going back to that neighborhood pho next door. When you thought that there’s no way pho can be made any better, Phoxotic does that and more. Ingredients are pure, veggies are fresh and packed with care, and more importantly I’m not reaching for water after downing a bowl of Phoxotic. “We used Susan Gage in the spring for our firms anniversary dinner/event and it was amazing! We started planning in the late fall, and everything came together smoothly and it was super easy to communicate with the team— even as I had not planned an event like this before. I loved the personalization of not only the menus, but of the table settings and linens inspired by our firm and our event venue. Ann Ashley was our main contact, and we also communicated with Dakota Poe— they were awesome. The food was phenomenal. Sometimes I still think about it. :)

I had a large order (10) and was understandably nervous, but the person on the phone was patient and knowledgeable. The food was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. “This hidden gem is a MUST visit!! I landed here twice in the same week. I went to a birthday dinner with family and friends. The owners ordinarily would not have accepted a reservation from our size group (about 17 ppl) at the last minute bc they were short staffed however, they welcomed us with open arms, warm hearts, excellent food, and great service. There were only four employees on duty this day, the owner, the manager, the cook, and a server (his first job and first day)🤦🏾. The way we were treated, you wouldn't believe that it was his first job, or first day! He was nervous but very thorough 😃 The manager and owner came out, had great conversations all while assisting with food orders. The food arrived to the tables steaming hot. It was well-seasoned, and very flavorful... just delicious. After our meal, we met the cook. Unbeknownst to us, he was only 26 years old🤦🏾 His food tasted like our southern grandmother's were in the kitchen. The fish, chicken, greens, pork chops, sweet potatoes made your mouth water. I'm tasting the flavors as I type this review😋😋. I might have to ride out today for lunch😃“

“Highly Recommend!!! Amazing Job, they catered my husband's retirement/50th birthday party for about 24 people. We were so happy with the professional staff and food. Staff were replenishing food before I even noticed...bartender kept everyone hydrated. The event went off without a snag thanks to Anna and Anna!!! I recommend them to everyone in our condo and I will use them again.“
