“I go out of my way to stop by here for lunch whenever I’m in Towson. The food is stellar, the prices are uncommonly reasonable, and the service is warm and genuine. The owner (who is generally behind the counter) very clearly cares about his craft/customers and it shows.“
“I went today and Goodness gracious. I could of made four extra sandwiches from my one sandwich. It was so good and juicy. I love my corn beef sandwiches on rye, with Swiss, mustard raw onions and sauerkraut. This sandwich was so delicious I forgot to take a picture of how oversize it was. I ate 1/2 already. Next time I will post all that goodness live and in color.“
“Not one of, but the BEST Italian sub I ever bought OR made!! I'm a cook, but was too lazy to make one, so I tried Pastore's for the very 1st time today. Needless to say, it was SOOO good, I should've bought 2!! Parking is an issue, but it's worth the extra walk to park down the street!“
“We recently attendeda private event at Ando's Market and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was nothing short of spectacular, each dish a delightful culinary experience. The carefully paired wines elevated the entire dining experience. A special shout-out to Steve and Pam for their exceptional service. They played a crucial role in making our evening truly memorable. Their attentiveness and professionalism added a personal touch that enhanced our overall enjoyment. Ando's Market is undoubtedly a top-notch choice for those seeking a unique and delicious experience. Looking forward to returning for more culinary delights.“
“Good ole Marty’s, the question is where do I start…. I moved down here little under 4 years and safe to say I’m a regular here now. By far the best breakfast/breakfast sandwiches around ?. When people ask me about breakfast food i recommend Marty’s 10/10 times. Btw they treat you like family when you come in great little spot and you can eat inside if you like.“
“My son talked SO MUCH about Vikki's; I just had to try it. Today I visited Vikki's for the first time. I got a breakfast platter; it was DE-LICIOUS! The staff was SO NICE too. Excellent customer service. I ABSOLUTELY MUST go back again.“
“When I say in my opinion nothing tops the edmondson chicken boxes that’s what I mean, I grew up in edmondson village and since I can remember eating these chicken boxes and cheesesteak subs, I now live over east and still will drive west just to get my chicken box no caping. Chicken be so fresh ,crispy and deep fried OMG ?I love it“
“First time here, but it won't be my last time. The staff here is friendly and they know their regulars for sure and remember what they order which is awesome! It's a nicer looking deli and you can tell they took their time to make sure it looks great and is kept up. Ordered the Italian Cold Cut and fries. This hit the spot. Nothing fancy about it but it's exactly what you want. Ketchup in a plastic bottle just hits differently too! Can't wait to come back and try some other things! I've seen people order a few different items that all looked amazing.“
“This is hands down the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had! The fries remind me of thrashers and are so good! They do not skimp on anything so much for your money!! I had left overs for two days! The black bottoms was amazing also!Very friendly and nice employees!!!This is the only place I will order from now on out!“
“Great food. I come here often. They know exactly what I want and always so friendly to me. I'm a regular cause the food is so yummy. If you're gonna eat outside your home then eat here. It's cooked homemade. It definitely better for you than going to McDonald's or some other fast food joint. Love you guys“
“Fantastic little place. Buddy of mine were in the area searching for food. This popped up in Yelp. Small row house in what appears to be a pretty nice part of town, an area with a lot of new stores and restaurants. No indoor seating, and only 3-4 chairs on their porch. Walk up to the window, order, wait, and then either leave and eat elsewhere or sit in a seat and watch cars go by.We ordered the Apollonia and Scooch. They are both great. We got them freshly-made, nice and warm, in just a few minutes.Highly recommended when you're in this part of town. Just be sure that you have somewhere to eat if their seats are full.“
“I heard great things about this deli from a neighbor and decided to try the food. The food was pretty good. I do wish they offered strawberry’s and banana’s with the French toast. The portions were decent. The prices weren’t to bad but added up to a nice amount because everything we ordered was priced separately. French toast, pancakes, home fries, chicken wings, cheeseburger, french fries, scrapple, bacon, and drinks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a chance to talk with the owner and she was really nice.“
“We stopped here based on the reviews and weren't disappointed. We had a panini, the meatball heel, and a slice of Smith Island cake. The food is authentic, delicious, and prepared to order. They have frozen meatballs, stuffed shells, pizza, etc from the kitchen to take home if you want. The dining area is nothing special but the food is absolutely worth a special trip.“

“Love this place. The food is always fresh and tasty. I have never been there before i always order door dash but I am assuming the service is great because they have never messed up my order. Ive had the following: Hot Panini SandwichesGrilled Shrimp, Shrimp PaniniSweet Kale Shrimp WrapShrimp Salad Sandwich“
“I don't know where in the city you can get a better veggie omelet for $7.50, but this is good. Loaded with peppers, carrots, tomatoes, onions and mushrooms, it doesn't need cheese and comes with excellent home fries. I added hot sauce, a little s&p, ketchup and mambo sauce because why not.I suggest calling your order in 10-15 minutes ahead. They get very busy.“
“My significant other and I order delivery from here fairly often, and it’s always solid and on-point. They pay close attention to any notes you add to your online order, and they’re happy to accommodate any requested customizations within reason. Our favorite menu items are as follows: the Firecracker Sandwich (both beef and chicken options), Rachel Sandwich (good Rachels are hard to come by in the area!), Greek Salad (they are happy to add grilled chicken for a reasonable extra charge), Flounder Melt Sandwich (it looks basic and unassuming at first glance, but the sandwich is such an interesting and delicious combination of fish, onions, tangy tartar sauce and old bay - yum!), Chicken Salad Sub (get it with hots, trust me!), and the Homemade Mini Cheesecakes. My significant other has also enjoyed some of their breakfast options. Bonus points to them, too, for labeling each small bag with what’s inside; so helpful! The food always arrives fast and hot. 5 stars! Thanks for being our go-to place! We only wish you were open later as we sometimes craze your food when you’re already closed for the day :-)“
“Me and my wife went in and placed a huge order on the spot THEY ARE AWESOME FOOD WAS DONE. “I been here many times for few years. Breakfast is delicious I always order the breakfast platter and the home fries w onion are to die for .I also tried the steak sub last time was real good too. I just won’t order w the Chinese guy cause he mess up my order before. I ate in before and they don’t have heater My food went cold real quick so is better order to go.“
“Jake's is a staple in that area. The proprietor's are friendly, very well mannered, pleasant to interact with. The food is above average for it's venue....and the Staff are pleasant and attentive to your request and preparation interest and dislikes. One of my GoTo's when I'm in the area.“
“If you work downtown and haven't been to Ms. Young, do you really work downtown!? Ms. Young is the GOAT for breakfast. Yes, I said it! I love getting the breakfast burrito and breakfast platter. She also serves lunch and has quick snacks and fruit. This is a two woman shop in at the bottom of an office building. It will get busy, but she keeps the line moving. My lunch favorite is the roasted turkey with avocado on ciabitta bread. Need a quick, delicious, low cost meal? Go see Ms. Young and she will take care of you!Tip - Bring cash, there is a minimum transaction fee to use a card!“
“Absolutely the very best deli in the Federal Hill area! A walkable distance from work, I can see myself walking here nearly every day for lunch. Had a Chicken Caesar Salad wrap two weeks ago purchased by a co-worker for me and it was fantastic! I love the "wrap options," as I selected the sundried tomato one.Today, I visited Urban Deli for the first time in person. Please go! The service was amazing. I was immediately greeted as I entered and everyone behind the counter greeted me. I did not know what to order. They have endless breakfast and lunch options (I think I want to try them all). I ordered an Asiago Bagel with Scallion Cream Cheese and Tomatoes. I love that their bagels are sourced from THB because the closest one to my job is on Saint Paul Street. I look forward to breakfast and lunch every day even more now because of Urban Deli. Thanks so much for the remarkable service and the delicious food. I will be back.“
“Hole in the wall deli offering breakfast and lunch classics at a low cost. Have been eyeing this place since I moved to the area. I walked in once at lunch time and the line was out the door, so I learned my lesson and called ahead. Person on the phone didn't tell me how long or gave me a number, however, i figured 10-15 minutes would be reasonable. Partner picked it up and said it was fairly busy.I ordered the Virginian sandwich - grilled turkey, coleslaw, swiss, and thousand island dressing on rye, partner ordered an italian cold cut. Both sandwiches were about $20 total, which is a decent price for lunch nowadays! my sandwich was a solid 8/10, I would say my partner felt the same about his. It's a simple, well-made sandwich. Nothing more, nothing less. I would rate them a 4.5 if i could, simply because these sandwiches were nothing to write home about. But, nonetheless, we both got what we wanted, and for the price, portion, and convenience, I would simply feel prissy giving them anything less than a 5.“
“Cool spot cool vibes gives home like atmosphere reasonable pricing with great taste quality food. I feel like if you do have an issue just let them know they will correct it. It’s a small mom pop place so if you want five star cuisine don’t comment that you didn’t get it because they definitely give what they offer which is a tasty bite to eat at a minimal cost compared to others in the area. This is just my opinion but try them if you haven’t. The breakfast sandwiches are great, the cheese steaks and fries were too. Enjoy oh come before 9:30 for free coffee refills with your meal for dine in customers.Parking: Large shopping center lot park close or walk a little but it’s free so heyKid-friendliness: You can bring your kids and eat a quick bite not too crowded but they have regulars coming on to pick up food the entire time I was there and they knew their orders.“
“The ham was excellent. I appreciate being able to buy small portions instead of a whole or half ham. Side dishes were also good. Employees were friendly & kept the flow of people coming in moving quickly & efficiently. Will definitely be back.“
“I went to Sophia's Place not knowing anything about Polish food or what to expect, but I was tastefully surprises! The food was fresh, delicious & the owners were extremely hospitable. I highly recommended Sophia's Place to anyone who loves great homemade food. I can'tvwait to tell ALL my “
“I drive from the county to the city because it's that good. Good service, good prices, good people, food on point. Westside born and raised and I'd put the sukiyaki sub they make against anyone else's any day of the week.OH and if y'all eat fast food and drink half & HALF on the regular, stop complaining/worrying about what's in the VACCINE and get vaccinated! LOL“
“Great food and great service. They always treat me as if im family. If anyone is is short changed then they will work with you. If they dont have an item that you want (food, cigs, blunts, any other products) then all you have to do is tell them that you want something and they will make sure to get it that day, if its b4 5pm. This is my favorite corner store in Dundalk. Great place all around.“
“I Was Introduced To Overlea Deli From One Of My Co-workers! And I'm Glad She Did! They Serve Breakfast and Lunch and It's All Off The Chain. The Little Spots Are The Ones You Least Expect It. The Breakfast Sandwiches Are So Good, I Want 2 ?? And Y'all, The Lake Trout ? Fish OMG! Look Them Up Y'all!! They Definitely Know Me! ??“
“I’ve been coming into Palmisanos‘s since I met my husband back in 1985. He grew up on Hyde’s Road. I grew up in Towson. I think Palmisanos is one of the cleanest restaurants I’ve ever been inAnd all of their food is amazing You can tell they take a lot of pride in establishment very good quality ingredients extremely nice people make you feel right at homeVegetarian options: They have amazing pasta dishes Their soups are very good i’m sure that they could accommodate you quite wellParking: There is plenty of parking!“
“Cub Hill Deli is under new ownership and after several name and proprietor changes over the years, it returns to one of its original names. There is adequate parking, and a few tables inside. At present the focus is on carryout with many delicious options ranging from salads to hoagies and other handhelds. Salads included a variety of vegetable and pasta options attractively displayed. Italian ready to eat entrees and homemade desserts round out the menu. I enjoyed one of the soups of the day, a rich, thick lentil. A big Greek Salad was crisp with plenty of feta and multicolored pepper slices. The eggplant salad was flavorful. The classic Italian cold cut hoagie was full of meats. The eggplant parmesan was a treat with tender thin eggplant and a tasty tomato sauce. It was difficult to chose just one dessert, but I was told about a unique almond tiramisu. It was creamy with great almond flavor. A great place to stop on the way home or get dishes and sides for a gathering at home.“
