“We came to the Ruddy Duck while in town visiting family so we could have a belated anniversary date.. We had a most incredible experience...our server David was attentive and pleasant without being over bearing...his menu recommendations were on point! The crab dip is stellar...my husband and I got what was on special...he got the crab cake burger with duck fat fries and I got the steak frites...everything was cooked perfectly! The duck fat fries beat out the well known ones from our current home town, and the steak was melt in your mouth...the mushroom peppercorn sauce was to DIE for... I was so thrilled that Chef agreed to sell me a small container of just the sauce to take home. My husband is going to regret that he brought me, because now we are going to have to go back every time we come back to visit family...10 stars out of 5! ❤️”

“My husband is Guatemalan and since moving to southern Maryland he has yet to find ANY traditional food. Especially tostadas, if you’ve never had, I highly recommend trying. This food was PHENOMENAL! Highly recommend, will repeatedly go here. ♥️”

“Now I have been eating at Capt pats for years, my whole family has and never had issues. Last night was for sure a bummer I called in the morning and put a order in for a half bushel of males for 5 pm. We had friends from out of town visiting who never had crabs. Now we live 30 mins away. We went all the way there picked up our crabs and got home and got everything set up and we literally had 20 crabs! I was so upset. I called them by this time it was 6:30, and they didn't even give us a call, yes they had my number. The lady started laughing saying yes your other bag is here. So not only did we have to make that drive back down there, our crabs also sat out for almost 2 hours. That second bag was not very tasty and our whole night was just ruined. Ofc I'm still going to eat there it's my fav place but yesterday was for sure upsetting and ALOT of time and gas wasted”

“This is my favorite place to get stuffed ham. I drive over 6 hours round trip from the Eastern Shore to get it several times a year. This time I got some chicken salad as well. Delicious!”

“The food truck is open Thursday through Sunday from around 11 AM to 7 PM I believe. Let me start this by saying I am from the south and we eat a lot of fried foods in especially fried seafood. I moved here and I was looking for a good place to eat that reminded me of home. At the time it had been pretty hard to find. I decided to stop by this food truck one day when I was on the way home from work. The guy that works there is very nice and patient. I ordered the two pieces of tilapia, six jumbo shrimp, one crabcake, and it came with fries and two hush puppies. Everything was amazing and reminded me of home. All of the food was cooked crispy, and it was not soggy or floppy. Everything was seasoned perfectly, not over season or under season. And the service was quick, it might have took 10 minutes. Everything is always fresh and it never taste like seafood. If you eat a lot of seafood, then you understand what I mean, yes, it is seafood, but it is not supposed to have that fishey smell. Overall, I wish I could give this place a 10 out of 5, but I will settle for a five out of five. Also, the seasoned butter sauce that he has is great.”

“I had a fantastic pad thai that was prepared quickly and the gentleman at the counter was incredibly pleasant. The spicy scale curve is not what you might expect though, I wouldn't exceed a 4 if it's generally not your thing.”

The food : superb, the environment : relaxing. Afterward, I spent time outside with some recommended activity, a sunny day - gentle breezes and a sparkling view. I'm humbled and grateful to have experienced this wonderful afternoon at Courtney's Restaurant.”

“Ordered online. No bread and no tomatoes, along with lack of communication to inform us of the changes to our order. The just put it on the pick up rack. They made it how they wanted too(Flatbread, no tomatoes, and what appears to be undercooked steak meat). This has been happening to me to often lately and it is unacceptable.”
