“We came to the Ruddy Duck while in town visiting family so we could have a belated anniversary date.. We had a most incredible experience...our server David was attentive and pleasant without being over bearing...his menu recommendations were on point! The crab dip is stellar...my husband and I got what was on special...he got the crab cake burger with duck fat fries and I got the steak frites...everything was cooked perfectly! The duck fat fries beat out the well known ones from our current home town, and the steak was melt in your mouth...the mushroom peppercorn sauce was to DIE for... I was so thrilled that Chef agreed to sell me a small container of just the sauce to take home. My husband is going to regret that he brought me, because now we are going to have to go back every time we come back to visit family...10 stars out of 5! ❤️”

“Now I have been eating at Capt pats for years, my whole family has and never had issues. Last night was for sure a bummer I called in the morning and put a order in for a half bushel of males for 5 pm. We had friends from out of town visiting who never had crabs. Now we live 30 mins away. We went all the way there picked up our crabs and got home and got everything set up and we literally had 20 crabs! I was so upset. I called them by this time it was 6:30, and they didn't even give us a call, yes they had my number. The lady started laughing saying yes your other bag is here. So not only did we have to make that drive back down there, our crabs also sat out for almost 2 hours. That second bag was not very tasty and our whole night was just ruined. Ofc I'm still going to eat there it's my fav place but yesterday was for sure upsetting and ALOT of time and gas wasted”

Made even better by the amazingly friendly and helpful staff, WJ Dent is an absolute gem!”

“Ive been coming to this food truck for years now. The customer service is amazing! The owner is so dedicated, always in such a great mood all around great person! I always get the whiteing basket and shrimp. However the crab soup is to die for! Everything is always made fresh to order. Nothing is ever sitting around. I would like to add that the serving you get for the price you pay is almost unrealistic. Soooo much food! If you haven’t tried them out yet you are 100000% missing out!”

“This is by far some of the best BBQ I've had around here. Highly recommend! The wings are amazing - they don't taste super smoky. They're seasoned and cooked perfectly, don't even need sauce IMO (although I got the Aunt Rose sauce and it's amazing)! Same with the pork BBQ - not super smoky, tastes amazing (we got it with Sweet Smoke sauce). Green beans aren't like any I've tasted before - savory but a hint of sweetness with an after kick of spice. Delicious! Mac n cheese, baked beans, and coleslaw are all delicious too. We're new to the area and are definitely looking forward to returning to Uncle D's to try more of their menu!”

“Tried this restaurant for the first time today, and the food was very good, and they serve huge portions. I ordered egg fried rice, which many restaurants do not accomodate, but they gladly did and it was delicious. Food was ready when i arrived and was hot and fresh. Highly reccomend this restaurant.”

“Melissa was our waitress, and did a superb job. The pizza was spot on with much flavor, and excellent cheese and crust! The lumpia was our starter choice and very delicious. We look forward to trying the burgers and chili on our next visit. Definitely 5 Stars!”

“I had a fantastic pad thai that was prepared quickly and the gentleman at the counter was incredibly pleasant. The spicy scale curve is not what you might expect though, I wouldn't exceed a 4 if it's generally not your thing.”

“Went for a special event with a group of 20 or so. Ashley was our server. She did an excellent job! Food was very good and served at the right temperature. Because of the group we had a small meeting room, which made it very noisy. Otherwise it was a great venue!”
