“Never a disappointing experience!“

“I was there last. night (Thursday) and the Octopus was delightful as was my 'ordinary' salmon plate with their delicious veggies....The home sparking pink wine served in an unusual goblet was ample and perfect (a substitute for the more expensive Brut when they didn't have theirs cooled._ The alternative was just as good. I'm no connoisseur but I know a good meal when I'm finished. Food ample and the less expensive dishes looked just as appetizing as the more expensive ones. I want to try almost everything once....“

“I don't think I've ever had bad food at Cafe Rio. Their Taco Tuesday is an absolute winner. Fresh tacos with corn or flour fresh made tortillas, shredded meat, lots of toppings including guacamole and sour cream. At the store I visited today it was just $2.69 a taco. “One of the few options for Mexican craving nearby. Hits the spot for Mexican and Central American cravings. Birria quesadilla comes with the birria stock, onions and cilantro, and variety of taco options. Great comfort food. They also have other cravings like esquite (Mexican corn cups), pupusas, nachos, queso, mangonadas, agua de Jamaica, Tamarindo and horchata. Only recommendation would be to include limes and hot sauce. They have become a favorite in the area. Can't recommend them enough.“

“The food here is amazing! It was so hard to choose what to eat because they have so many options. I decided to build my own burrito bowl and get a bunch of different sauces on the side to try. All the sauces are 5 stars, but I still dream about the mango habanero sauce. My group got a variety of items to try including the quesadillas, tacos, and burritodillas - all great options. I didn't realize they have curly fries and desserts (hello boardwalk cookies!), so I'll definitely be adding those to my order next time. I'll also add that even though they were super busy when I went, the staff were so nice, and were able to get through orders quickly. If there's a line, definitely wait - it will be worth it!“

There are a lot of central/south American restaurants in this town, and I've tried all of them. I think this one is the best in taste, portions, and value.

Possibly the best papusas I've ever had, and very cheap at less than 3 a piece.
