“Really nice cozy place, super friendly staff and owner. Food was reasonable priced. It is geared to gringos (they put lettuce and cheese on tacos) but of course you can get them without. I got the fish tacos and didn’t take a picture but they were awesome.

“The older lady at the from register is very nice, I always see her working there. I ordered mixed nachos on a Sunday at 7 to-go, and they were done in ~5 minutes. Service was great and the nachos were good, just something about the guacamole tastes a bit off. Eventually I just took it off because I wasn’t sure if it was still good or not.
Nachos filled me up and I still had some for lunch the next day to spare. Love Baja Fresh ??“

Taco Bar and Ixtapalapa cooking went way down after gaining so much popularity. So glad that new places are taking their place with imaginative cooking.
The restaurant is small and definitely geared toward takeout, and parking is somewhat awkward, but everything is squeaky clean, the decor is simple but thorough (call it Playa Azul), staff is welcoming, caring and prompt.“

“I placed a call in order for pick up. Two chicken enchiladas.. came with rice beans, pico, guac and sour cream. Also got queso and chips and an horchata. The horchata was very good!! All the food was great except I wasn't a fan of the rice.. didn't taste like normal Mexican restaurant rice.. it tasted like the Knorr Spanish rice, which if you've ever had that before, it tastes very plain. The food was hot and ready and the girl who helped was friendly. I was searching all Mexican restaurants in the area and this one had the best prices as well.“

“Consistently the best food in Rio! Service is always good, and the food is excellent! The pickings for good food in Rio have become slim over the years with constant restaurant closings but Guapos has survived for a reason.
The queso is to die for, my favorite in the area for dine in Queso Blanco. Also every wait staff I've had tend to my tables has been attentive and kind.
There will probably be a wait for a table but it's worth it if you're in Rio already for a movie or something, as there's really no better place to eat in Rio.“

The food was good… we tried 3 different quesadillas steak, chicken and shrimp… they were all good… the steak was my favorite… they had a DJ the Friday night we went … music was too loud though…we had to yell so we could hear each other… next time we go we will try outside dining…nice bar too!“

“I got put on to this restaurant by a really good friend of mines & the 1st time I came which was about 3 months ago I had ordered there steak burritos & ranchero wings wasn't much of fan of there burrito but there's wings I been hooked on them ever since went earlier today for lunch & ordered a 6 piece with 2 sides my last visit is what I ordered in the pic posted here in this review with a extra order of 6 wings which came out to over $20 bucks but it was worth it plus they give u cups of ranch to dip the wings these are very unique & have a bit of spic to them but I love em & the staff is so nice plus everything is made fresh to order & thank u Janis for putting me on this spot I highly recommend it to anyone passing by airpark road to give this place a try !!!“

“The best tacos I’ve tried in the area!!! Carne asada is well seasoned and has crispy bits. Tortilla is actually fried on the griddle and salsa is spicy and delicious. $4 per taco a bit steep imo but inflation I guess. I always stop to eat when I pass by.“

However the staff plays loud music on all the TVs, loud enough they can hear it from the kitchen... but as a customer you have to sit by those TVs and the noise is unpleasant. “After a long day being on the go as Wife, Mother, and Professional, Poyoteca was an stress-free way to end the day. Everyone’s pallet was satisfied with options for Peruvian rotisserie chicken, veggies and starches.

I’m confused with the macaroni and cheese or mashed potatoes. There’s rice and beans, fries and yuca too! We like Brussels sprouts though the children prefer string beans.

I’m doing my best to promote my health. The cilantro lime dressing was flavorful and helped me enjoy a full serving of salad.

I appreciate that there are no codes on the bathrooms. They were tidy and fresh with a place to put my belongings while I handled my business.

Seating is separate from ordering. There’s a TV should you choose to dine in (I took a load of and charged my phone).

Finally, the employees were very personable and efficient which is the hallmark of any restaurant. Two thumbs up for Fallsgrove Poyoteca.

“I love California Tortilla and this place didn't disappoint! The steak fajita burrito was delicious. The Coke from the machine was off, but I'll chock it up to a mistake. Someone probably put the wrong bag in the regular spot, it tasted like cherry. The sauce wall has some pretty amazing sauces and to-go containers. Will definitely be back!“
