“Good local chain. Order at register and they drop food to you, similar to Nandos. Vegetarian options are a little lackluster.Easy going atmosphere, outside seating if desired. The separate bar area is cool, easy to hop in for happy hour.I personally did not like the Hush puppies, they ended up not being my cup of tea. But I would recommend you try them, my friends liked them. Rest of the food was great. Definitely try the green sauce, it's not spicy and the flavor really pops.Clean restaurant, fast and friendly service, would recommend.Vegetarian options: For entre, they only had veggie tacos, guac on the veggie taco was extra, and the veggie assortment was lacking. Mostly mushrooms, not enough peppers, onions, tomatoes, etc...They do have cheese quesadillas tooGood selection of vegetarian apps though.“
“Best birria tacos I have ever tried in my life. So delicious. And the consume is so good!! Food was fresh and service was great. My husband is a very picky eater so I was hesitant to try a new place but he loves it and this has now become our new taco place. Even my very picky kids enjoyed their quesadillas. I can’t wait to go back and try their other foods!!“
“Friday 12/8/2023 I always see this place when heading home and it's usually always packed with parked cars waiting for or eating their food. After a while of knowing about it I finally decided to try it. I made a takeout order of the birria combo 15$ (it comes with a quesadilla, tostado, and a taco with consome) to be able to try some of their items without spending a lot. The birria quesadilla was pretty good. The birria taco was solid and the texture of the taco resembled more of a hard shell taco rather than a soft flour/corn tortilla. The birria tostado was decent. The consome was okay. Overall, the Mexican food was decent but I've definitely had better.“
“This place has come a long way from my previous low review, but their food has improved drastically. Anything you try here will be good.The beer selection is pretty good, and their margaritas are pretty delicious!The place has a great atmosphere, always busy, there are always people at the bar, having a good time.The only negative note is the wait staff. They can be pretty slow and pretty forgetful. However, the bartending staff is amazing, professional, and know their stuff.“
“We have eaten here dozens of times, never had a bad meal. The prices are very fair especially if you get the daily meal deal. The line can be a bit long at peak times so try to avoid that if possible. You cannot beat taco Tuesday!Dietary restrictions: They can substitute corn tortillas for flour tortillas for those that choose gluten free.“
“This is our Friday date night place. Where else can you spend a whole evening enjoying drinks, great Salvadorian / Mexican food, and listening to very good karaoke singers (mostly in Spanish). Order appetizers, have a beer, and order dinner when you're ready. Most restaurants hurry you to get your meal and give up the table - not here! They welcome families to set up several tables and party all evening. This is a real hidden treasure in Germantown. They have karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays. We've tried nearly every dish they serve, and they are all excellent! Try the pargo Frito if you love fish.“
“The BEST place to get pupusa's at. My wife loves the tacos as well. The people who work there are very nice and easy to understand when it comes to explaining what is what. Highly recommend this place. If there is a line then trust me stay it's worth the weight.“
“Tortacos is absolutely phenomenal! From the fresh salsas and toppings bar to the takeout experience, they offer thoughtfully prepared, AMAZING food. Some personal favorites are the quesadillas which are rich and cheesy without being greasy, and the burrito bowls which are healthy and filling. I love the service and the attention to detail. Their flan is a perfect example of that. It is the best flan I have ever eaten. I can't order flan at other restaurants anymore because nothing compares to tortacos. It is a family business and it feels like a family ahen you walk throygh the doors.“
