“Jaques' Brasserie is the undercroft of L'Auberge Chez Francois. It has a simpler menu, but the food is prepared with the same excellence as L'Auberge. It's a more casual dining experience, but the service is still top tier. I had the sweat breads and calves' liver -- both were excellent. The wine list was perfect for the Brasserie, and the deserts and aperitifs were superb (I had a poire williams, my wife a Mirabelle, which are hard to find. We'll be back.“

“OMG! Where do I start...From the unassuming quaint colonial home to the wonderful welcoming of Mona herself. You will fall in love with Mona and this place immediately! It's just like walking into your own Grandma's home and Mona makes you feel that way too! We were traveling from out of town to a customer's location near here and were looking for a different dining experience. Boy, Mona did not disappoint! We ordered Baba Ganouj, Beef Shwarma and Lamb with Rice. For dessert we had Rice Pudding and Knafe Bel Jibne. The smoke on the pitas and Baba Ganouj was amazing and I don't like smoke on ANYTHING! I don't care for lamb but tried my business partner's meal and LOVED IT! Mona has definitely won me over hands down! The Shwarma was like nothing I have ever had before. And as a BIG pickle lover, this was a hit! The Rice Pudding was very delicate and a perfect ending to a perfect meal. We ordered the Knafe Bel Jibne as we were very curious. It is a warm sweet treat with a very slight hint of savory which comes from the pistachios - YUM! Mona cooks everything herself to order with LOVE! This is such an AMAZING AND UNIQUE dining experience and hidden GEM! This place is a MUST! When you go there, tell Mona that Kat and Rob sent you!“

“I love the tea, the staff is great. They have some really good varieties of teas. They always have samples out so you can try the tea. They are pricey but I think that's because of the way that they source things, plus they also use really nice cups and packaging. The furniture in there is beautiful. I think the whole thing is a very nice experience. They also do tastings, which is a good activity for a few people to do together.“

“I had an amazing experience at Silver Diner thanks to our waiter, Badr. From the moment we sat down, he was quick, attentive, and genuinely on top of everything. He checked in at all the right times without ever feeling intrusive, and made sure we had everything we needed.

What really stood out was his personality — friendly, upbeat, and funny. He added little jokes and light conversation that made the meal feel even more enjoyable. You can tell he really enjoys his job and cares about giving great service.

“Order 6 cookies for delivery and one of the cookies I recieved was wrong, got the pink cookie instead of chocolate chip. Not that big of a deal except the chocolate chip is the only one of my family member will eat. Also every time I ask this location to add a special note it never gets done. Tried contacting support, but it didnt work. Next time I guess ill save the extra $5 delivery fee and go in myself so I can verify I got what I paid for.“

“If you're looking for an intimate, casual, soul food place then you've found your new favorite spot. On a whim, we stopped here after church for Brunch. I reserved a table online for 2pm but was able to get seated 10min before our time. Brunch ended at 3pm so we only dined for about an hour. The place was PACKED but the vibe was intimate and lovely. Everything we had came out hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. We ordered the Honey Biscuit w/ Peach Preserves, Shrimp and Grits, Fried Whiting, Collards with Smoked Turkey, Cheesy Grits, and the Chicken and Waffles. I was only able to get a pic of the Fried Fish and the Shrimp and Grits because my family dug in so fast!

For drinks, we ordered one Peach Ice Tea and a Hot Chocolate for our kids. Our server was very nice and she checked on us as food was coming out. We waited quite a bit for our omelet and it never made it out but we weren't upset about it because we understood how busy it was.

We paid $32pp plus tax for brunch which wasn't bad considering portions, authenticity to the brand, and the consistency of the quality. I do think the drinks are a bit expensive as the Peach Iced Tea was $8 a glass. They were about the size of a mason jar. The music was relative to the ambiance with its modern rustic feel incorporated by shades of brown, greens, and gold.

Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and I look forward to returning with family and friends.“

“I had an event for St Patrick’s Day catered by Spanky’s Shenanigans. If 5 star is the top, this was 10 star. The food was absolutely delicious and more than plentiful. People raved about the Corner Beef and Cabbage and Fish and Chips. The food arrived in a timely fashion and was hot. Kolt the manager could not have been pleasanter or easier to work with. “First visit today. Lovely venue. Nice wine and food. Kids and pets…witnessed a couple with 3 dogs who had no control over them. One pet fight with another dog guest. Then witnessed a small child having her hand bitten by one of the dogs. I hope the owners of the winery have sufficient insurance to allow anyone…especially children and babies, and dogs to enjoy the venue. Great to be family and pet friendly…but is that a wise business decision? Not sure that alcohol, children and pets are a wise and safe business practice…what happened to baby and pet sitters for an afternoon out?“

“Barnhouse Brewery is run by hands down the best people in the business. Not only are the drinks great, but the owners have made their brewery into one of the most underrated in Loudoun. If you're looking for a place to hang out that is beautiful, peaceful, and just refreshing, with great beer & people, I can't recommend Barnhouse more. It can't be beat. There's nowhere else like it. My husband and I even had our wedding reception there, and the owners are so generous, professional, and made sure that every single plan went off without a hitch. I ordered the Chicken and Steak Hibachi and the Chicken Yakisoba, and they were both delicious! Portions aren’t generous though, but healthy; you won’t feel overstuffed after eating.“

“We (on a whim) stopped in with a group of ten, 10 year old girls after a morning of playing at Activate. We probably threw the staff off for a few minutes until we got everyone situated and the staff handled it wonderfully. It was a lot of kids to come in at lunchtime on a Sunday and we really appreciated the staff stepping up to keep things moving right along so we didn’t impede anyone else’s experience. The girls had a wonderful time getting a treat or two and we did as well. At the end, someone realized it was our daughter’s birthday and brought over a slice of cake and a candle. Over the top thoughtfulness and kindness. I was already a fan of Paris Baguette, but even more so after our experience. The food was delicious, and I absolutely loved the Singaporean noodles. They also have so many options that you don’t typically find at other Chinese restaurants, which was a nice surprise. Service was quick, portions were great, and I really appreciated that they use recyclable containers.

“Parallel has become one of our favorite go-to spots for happy hour. The atmosphere is relaxed yet lively. We absolutely love the duck fat fries. They are crisp and thick cut. The fried pickles are also very good and if the kids are with us we get the chicken and waffles and kids mac n cheese. It's an amazing gourmet mac n cheese and the fresh fruit side is picture perfect every time.

Montepulciano has become one of our favorite wines. I also enjoy the pinot grigio and sauvignon blanc in the summer. We weren't fans of the chardonnay, but the rest of the wines more than make up for it. Great old fashioned - well balanced.

Service has always been good. All the servers are friendly and knowledgeable about the drink and food menus. We love the atmosphere as well. Very rustic and down to earth.“
