“My family came to the Silver Diner midweek for breakfast to celebrate my grandmother’s 90th birthday. Badr was our server and was so friendly and attentive. We casually mentioned we were celebrating a birthday, without any expectations, and at the end of the meal they brought out a treat with a candle and got the whole restaurant to sing happy birthday. Perfect for 90! She loved it. Also, the oat milk protein pancakes were incredible!“

“OMG! Where do I start...From the unassuming quaint colonial home to the wonderful welcoming of Mona herself. You will fall in love with Mona and this place immediately! It's just like walking into your own Grandma's home and Mona makes you feel that way too! We were traveling from out of town to a customer's location near here and were looking for a different dining experience. Boy, Mona did not disappoint! We ordered Baba Ganouj, Beef Shwarma and Lamb with Rice. For dessert we had Rice Pudding and Knafe Bel Jibne. The smoke on the pitas and Baba Ganouj was amazing and I don't like smoke on ANYTHING! I don't care for lamb but tried my business partner's meal and LOVED IT! Mona has definitely won me over hands down! The Shwarma was like nothing I have ever had before. And as a BIG pickle lover, this was a hit! The Rice Pudding was very delicate and a perfect ending to a perfect meal. We ordered the Knafe Bel Jibne as we were very curious. It is a warm sweet treat with a very slight hint of savory which comes from the pistachios - YUM! Mona cooks everything herself to order with LOVE! This is such an AMAZING AND UNIQUE dining experience and hidden GEM! This place is a MUST! When you go there, tell Mona that Kat and Rob sent you!“

“I had an event for St Patrick’s Day catered by Spanky’s Shenanigans. If 5 star is the top, this was 10 star. The food was absolutely delicious and more than plentiful. People raved about the Corner Beef and Cabbage and Fish and Chips. The food arrived in a timely fashion and was hot. Kolt the manager could not have been pleasanter or easier to work with. “We ordered the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with a side of Million $ Potatoes and Farmhouse Hash with a side of Million $ Bacon. Drinks included coffee, Morning Meditation, and Mint Mocha Iced Coffee. Service was excellent. The food was amazing, plentiful (leftovers for another day), and reasonably priced. (We liked not having to pay the Leesburg food tax when dining at the Leesburg First Watch.)

A definite winner and new dining venue!

Then witnessed a small child having her hand bitten by one of the dogs. I hope the owners of the winery have sufficient insurance to allow anyone…especially children and babies, and dogs to enjoy the venue. Great to be family and pet friendly…but is that a wise business decision? Not sure that alcohol, children and pets are a wise and safe business practice…what happened to baby and pet sitters for an afternoon out?“

“Parallel has become one of our favorite go-to spots for happy hour. The atmosphere is relaxed yet lively. We absolutely love the duck fat fries. They are crisp and thick cut. The fried pickles are also very good and if the kids are with us we get the chicken and waffles and kids mac n cheese. It's an amazing gourmet mac n cheese and the fresh fruit side is picture perfect every time.

Montepulciano has become one of our favorite wines. I also enjoy the pinot grigio and sauvignon blanc in the summer. We weren't fans of the chardonnay, but the rest of the wines more than make up for it. Great old fashioned - well balanced.

Service has always been good. All the servers are friendly and knowledgeable about the drink and food menus. We love the atmosphere as well. Very rustic and down to earth.“
