The food is always good. We tried the chicken with cashews tonight and it's the best I've tasted. It's not in brown sauce, the sauce is more light and citrus-y, but delicious. Not soggy or greasy at all.
I’m vegetarian and was very happy with food and service here. They clearly told me which items could be made vegan, which were all the rice and noodle dishes as well as the tom yum soup. They added tofu to every dish and it was all delicious. Mild spice was the perfect spice level, we got medium spice with the soup. We’ve ordered dinner here at least 6 or more times now, and every time it’s been amazing! Thai Commons is a wonderful addition to Poolesville and I would highly recommend you try them out! I’m hoping we get even more restaurants of this caliber in the future.

The restaurant Thai Commons is a new takeout place that did not disappoint. The food is amazing and full of warmth, rich, savory Thai flavors. They can try basil fried rice, crab Rangoon, Spicy Thai basil shrimp fried rice, garlic and black pepper chicken, Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles), Pad See Ew, Tom Yum soup, Beef Pad Thai, shrimp Pad Thai, Thai iced tea and Thai tea. Every dish is fresh, well-seasoned, absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The service is super friendly and the employees are kind, welcoming and incredibly kind owners. The portion size is well worth $15 and the spice level can be medium and perfectly balanced. The restaurant is busy and wait times can be longer, but they will definitely come back.
